Collegiate 1/2 Hole Stirrup Leathers

These are very stiff. The leather is not the greatest quality. I mainly ride dressage. I put these on my jump saddle that I use about 3-4x month and after 6 months they are starting to loosen up. They are fine for my needs. I would recommend oil these heavily before putting on your saddle. I have scuffed up my saddle a bit with these (of course we can also just blame poor leg position for that). I bought these because they were cheap and I should not complain that they are not $100 leather quality, but this is a review so I will complain anyway.If you have a nicer saddle, buy nicer leathers. If you are like me, you want something to hold the stirrup iron to the saddle so you can ride your horse, then these definitely do the job. The leather and quality are definitely good enough to last the foreseeable future for my riding needs.

Very good, excellent hole spacing. Too often I end up punching holes in stirrup leathers, but these are good, spacing is close. Only problem is that they are not wearing real well. Not cracking, but scuffing and some discoloration. Fine for schooling and practice, and leisure rides, but not the best quality leathers by far.

I love these Stirrup leathers. The color is a perfect match for my saddle. The leather is supple and very flexible. No break in is needed. I was impressed by this. I especially like the half hole lengths. I have always had difficutly getting my stirrups lengths adjusted for a good fit. The half holes do it. Highly recommended.

RUN AWAY! The quality is low grade. The picture was misleading to me. The only stitching is 3" near the buckle. There is an impression that goes down both sides of the strap, however, if you look closely... this is an imprint, not stitching. Picture a cheap belt that comes with a pair of pants off of the rack... similar quality.I would guess these leathers would chew up a saddle in the first few hours. Spend a few dollars more ($20.00) and consider a higher quality product that will last longer, perhaps a nylon core with a soft leather exterior on both sides with stitching all the way around the strap.

Very nice supple leather, defiantly some of the best stirrup leathers I've ever had. The fit my 5'1" hight well, I didn't even have to punch more holes. So heads up to all of you shot equestrians out there, these stirrup leathers accommodate for that!

Love these leathers. I bought them to match a saddle I have and thankfully the leathers matched perfectly and they are really good quality!

Great stirrup leathers for the price. Love the half inch increments!
