I normally order the recommended size. This skirt runs big. Had to return. Material is good quality and you can’t see through it. Was more flared than I wanted, but may have been because it was too big.

So this skirt fits best when it is worn at your natural waist (or high waisted). A belt really helped me as it was a little lose at the waist in a size medium. I ordered a small and the waist fit better but it shortened the length. My only complaint was that the top band has double fabric so it does bump out a little at that hip seam. I wish it didnt have that band/seam as most people wont want a horizontal line distracting from the waist line(hence the belt to make the eye go to the waist.)The fabric is nice and heavy so it stays down.Needs an iron after arriving.Im a pear shape so a solid color block is best for me to keep things more modest, as it is a shorter skirt.Im 5'7" 160 and usually an 8 or medium. Im a pear figure so this is the perfect flare out for me.

OK so I've tried SO many skirts & skorts from Amazon, trying to find a nice looking, somewhat conservative black skirt for work. THIS is the one I've been looking for!In my pics the skirt shows some wrinkling but that's because I had just recv'd the package and couldn't wait to try it on.I bought a Large and should have gone with Medium but oh well..... it can sit lower on my hips and it's fine. LOVE the length because I didn't want anything too dowdy or below my knees.The material is fantastic! It's a nice, "thick enough" material that lays beautifully and has enough weight to it to keep it flowing nicely. BUT it's NOT a "sweatshirt" material that most of these skirts seem to be. Instead, it's more of a swimsuit-type material and I mean that as a PLUS! It reminds me of a wetsuit material. You know...the stuff that keeps its shape and has some substance to it. Very comfy, and not at all see-through. It hangs so nicely so it wouldn't show lumps or bumps.It's super duper comfy and looks more expensive than it is. It's not longer in the back as some skirts are. The waist just kind of "A-Lines" inward so there's not a definitive elastic band or scrunching-up type of look. It's just smooth and .... well.... perfect, IMO.

Really nice skater skirt. I wanted a skater skirt that would be professional enough to wear to the office and this one is great. I tried purchasing other skater skirts of this similar style on Amazon and they were all very poor quality or not at all as they look in the photo. This skirt is a little on the expensive side, but you are paying for quality and the skirt is high quality. It is made in Canada.I normally wear a size 12 in pants in the US. I ordered a large size and it was pretty big for me. I returned it for a medium and it is a perfect fit. The only downside to this skirt is that it is a little bit longer than in the photo. I am 5'3" and the skirt comes just above my knees. If it was any longer it might look matronly. I might get it hemmed... But I paid $30 for the skirt and I am willing to pay more to get it hemmed. That probably says something about how much I like this skirt! :)

Item is pretty much as pictured and described. Nice heavy fabric is non see-through. I am 5'2". For me skirt hemline is a few inches above the knee.

This skirt is amazing. The fabric is luxuriously soft, completely opaque, surprisingly heavy, and it drapes beautifully. If you are between sizes, I would suggest ordering down, since the sizing seems to run a bit large. My normal size is a large, and I had to send this back and get a medium, though to be fair, it did say that a 10-12 is a medium in the size chart. Also note that the length in the image in the description is incorrect. The medium I received measures almost exactly 19" in length.Update: I just ordered a second skirt in a different color, about three months after I had ordered the first, and the sizing, quality, and fit is consistent across the two orders. The length of the second--again a medium--is just a smidge over 19.5". I'm thinking I'll order a few more in different colors. I love this skirt that much.

This skirt is thicker, heavier and longer than I expected. The length measurement posted was taken from the bottom of the 4 inch waistband, and didn't include the waistband. My skirt was a total of 20.5 inches from top to bottom and was mid-knee on my short 5'3" body. The skirt is a nice quality and well sewn. It would be good for an office setting. No slip needed! Since I work from home, I was really just looking for something light, thin and cool for the summer so this skirt will be returned.

I've owned a leopard print blouse for several years and have finally found a solid dark brown skirt that flows nicely with that blouse. I'm lean and have small hips that aren't flattering in a more tight-fitting skirt.
