BIONIC STEEL PRO 75 Ft Metal Garden Hose with Brass Nozzle

If you are reading this review, that tells me that you are interested in purchasing this hose. Let me give you the short version: Stop reading and BUY the hose! Longer version: Perhaps you are thinking about buying one of those "pocket hoses"? They are OK, but they do have two serious quality issues: They wear very quickly when dragged on the ground, and the thorns on my roses slice them like a hot knife through butter. I purchased the 100-foot hose because...why not? It will not go to waste, and with my luck, if I purchase the 50-foot hose, I will need 52 feet. The hose itself is of outstanding quality. The connector ends are first-class. For the past few weeks, I have beaten on this hose, and it still does not even have a scratch. For storage: I did have an issue storing the hose until I figured out a solution: The hose coils very easily, and it fits very well in a 5-gallon pail (photo). The pail and the 100-foot hose weigh about 5 pounds.

I bought this in October 2025, as I had others and liked how they would not kink. Recently, I had this set up with a sprinkler on a timer set for 25 minutes a day for some new grass. After a week of use it just started leaking water from the middle, there is no sign of damage. Edit 5/13/2026, I contacted the vendor by phone and they apologized for the problem and replaced the hose. I'm completely satisfied,assuming unless this one also has an uncharacteristically short life.

Absolutely love this item. Light weight and they do not get hot in the sun. Easy to move around and roll up easy. I would recommend this product to anyone where weight is a problem, like the big rubber hoses.

Ordered this hose as had an old, heavy black rubber which the mice liked to chew on occasionally and tired of patching. This hose was a nice surprise. The 100' is very light and easy to move around and winds up super easy on my hose reel. Does not kink and slides around obstacles with ease. Would have given it a 5 rating, except the volume is lower than my other hoses due to smaller inside diameter so my sweep sprinkler doesn't reach as far. I didn't realize this when ordered, but still very happy with it and switched to a new telescoping tripod sprinkler and love my new setup... so easy. Liked the Bionic Steel hose so much I ordered two more for my other spigots!

Recently purchased two of these hoses to replace old rubber hoses I've used for years. So far I'm liking them. They're light weight, easy to handle and coil and work well. That said, be aware, you can't handle these roughly like you might handle a rubber hose. Tugging, stretching/pulling hard could cause the metal exterior to split if you're not careful with it.

After using my 75ft Bionic steel pro hose, I threw away my beloved traditional rubber hose. Why? The steel hose is lighter and more manageable to drag around the house. Super easy to store and "roll" up. I added another 25ft bionic steel hose to the 75ft so that I can use all the way around house. Also, commendable is the fact that the included washers are a fabulous malleable rubber ring and do not create leaks at the sprayer or hose-to-hose connections. I liked this so much that I replaced my mom's tangled up and heavy hoses with the Bionic steel ones ( in total, I have purchased 4)

I have used several metal hoses over the years that leaked, so I have a good sense of what to expect. This particular hose is great for light, careful use—it is easy to wind, does not kink, and is easy to handle. The shorter length is especially convenient, but it is important to note that these hoses do not tolerate much abuse. If you pull too hard or drag them around rough corners, they are more likely to develop leaks over a short time. That said, with proper handling, this one works wonderfully after 8 months. Just do not expect it to hold up under heavy-duty use. I do hope that someone makes one for that.

Truly do love this hose, but don't expect it to last more than 1 year will regular use. The water pressure isn't great, it's similar to using a 1/2 inch hose. When using daily, the fist water that comes out has some weird foamy type stuff which isn't fantastic. Decent for the price, the shortcomings outweigh not worrying about kinking or an animal chewing thru it

Can’t say enough good things about this hose. Very well made and virtually impossible to tangle. How a metal hose can be lighter and easier to manipulate than a plastic one is beyond me, but it’s all those things and more.

Looks sturdy, I particularly like the brass fittings, hopefully will last longer that plastic ones. Also like the stop valve at the end of the hose, very convenient. It took a little while to ‘unkink’ it straight out of the box, but after a couple of times using it it winds up now with no problem.

Usa un conector estadounidense: no es compatible con un grifo europeo y no es fácil encontrar adaptadores. Tampoco es fácil ver si compras una pistola si va a ser compatible
