Why was the battery registration function unable to be performed?

1.Old chassis (E46,E39,E38,E53,E36,E85,E86,R52,R53,R50) don't support battery registration; just replace battery & clear codes. 2.Watch the above video for operation. 3.Special functions are for BMW/MINI only, confirm compatibility before purchase.

Will BM500 perform every function on my BMW/MINI?

No. Available diagnostic and service functions vary by vehicle model, year, chassis and configuration. Please verify your specific vehicle and desired function before purchase.

How do I know if my vehicle supports a special function?

Special functions such as EPB, Oil Reset, Throttle/ETC, PCM adaptations and Battery Registration are vehicle-dependent. Check compatibility for your specific model and year before purchase.

Can BM500 clear my Check Engine code?

BM500 can read and clear supported fault codes. Some codes require the underlying issue to be repaired first, and some vehicle modules may not be supported.

Can BM500 program my BMW battery?

BM500 supports Battery Registration on selected vehicles. Battery Registration is not the same as battery coding or programming.
