Great Value For Price
I ordered these to replace a pair of B&W mm-1 computer speakers, which are now discontinued and do not work with Windows 10. Sound quality may be subjective, but this Edifier model clearly does not meet the sound quality the B&Ws provided. However, this Edifier model didn't cost an arm and a leg, which the B&Ws certainly did., so that has to be taken into account. If you listen to popular music or play games Edifier is very good. The sound quality is also excellent for movie viewing. Edifier does make more expensive speakers, so if you're willing to spend more, I'm sure the sound quality appreciates greatly with the price.I was very impressed with the packaging and presentation of these speakers. Fit and finish were excellent, each of the speakers was covered in a protected bag, and the enclosed accessories were accessible and well placed.I also chose Edifier for the design of the speakers. Very modern and very attractive. They definitely look good on a desk, unlike a lot of desktop speakers which are boxy and cheap looking - and some of them are almost as expensive or more expensive than this Edifier model. If you're a "must have thunderous bass at all times" person, you probably need a subwoofer, but I find the bass output substantial and I think most people will too.I realize not everyone wants to spend this amount on desktop computer speakers, but if you can, the Edifier e25HD should definitely be on your radar. You are definitely not going to find any speakers of this quality and attractiveness for a lower price. I call that great value.

Impressed by the sound and looks!
I'm somewhat of an audiophile. I love the sound of my Martin Logan electrostatic speakers because of the crystal clear highs and the sound stage it produces, so I'm quite picky when it comes to audio. I've always loved the look of the Edifer e25HDs so I took the plunge and ordered them on Amazon when the price dropped considerably for a black pair. I also have the Bose Companion 20 and Companion 5 which I thought sounded great as computer speakers. However, the Edifer just blows them away in terms of clarity and smoothness. Vocals just sound velvety smooth, which I suspect are due to the silk dome tweeters. The mid-range is also very clear and punchy. The bass is not as strong as the Bose Companion 20 and definitely not the Bose companion 5 with its subwoofer. However, the bass is definitely not lacking and I find adequate. Sound stage is very impressive when sitting in front of my desk with these speakers playing. Overall, the sound the Edifer speaker produces is awesome. Plus the looks of this set of speakers is a major head turner.

Nice but faulty volume control on Google Pixel (Android).
These speakers sound pretty nice. From reviews of other Edifier models, I take it that these aren't the best sounding for the price, but I compromised for the style. These do look very modern and aesthetically pleasing. They are quite loud -- louder than you will probably need -- so you could easily throw a party with these things. I have two sets -- one for computer -- and one for my TV. The biggest annoyance is that the volume control doesn't work correctly with Android. The first couple of notches of volume (via your Android phone) the volume will adjust on the speakers, but then it stops adjusting.Imagine you have 30 possible notches on your phone from NO VOLUME to FULL VOLUME. Well the first five notches drastically increase the volume but then nothing after that. The volume won't go up or down past these first few notches. Basically you have no finite control over the volume. This happens with both my sets. I also don't have this issue with my bluetooth headphones, so I am confident it's an issue with the speakers themselves or the bluetooth technology it uses.Far as sound quality, it definitely sounds like a movie theater -- minus the bass. Bass is OK but nothing great. I almost got the square speakers they sell (R2000DB) but again I compromised for the looks. One reviewer who had compared against other models, said the R2000DB have amazing sound quality. I am curious how they compare against the Luna model I purchased. I feel like it could be bit better, but again no great point of reference. For price however, perhaps this is as good as it gets. There is a since that it's slightly muffled if I was to be really critical of it.The attention to detail in the design and packing is immaculate. However the remote is lacking... Too small for such an expensive set and I imagine easy to misplace. There is no input button and no mute button. Lame for such an expensive set. Also an annoying beeping noise anytime bluetooth switches off. Since your TV won't control the volume of the speakers, you definitely can't lose the remote if you hope to easily control your TV volume. I also noticed I had to turn off my TV volume (and just use the speakers) or I would get an echo. I am using the optical input... Not sure if it's a lag issue or to be expected with two different sound sources.Overall a great set and I would recommend it, but it could use a better remote and a fix for the bluetooth issue.

Great Little Monitors!
Okay, I have to be totally honest here when I say that I mostly came and bought the Edifier e25 Luna Eclipses for their Beautiful red finish, but I stayed for the quality and their sound! These are truly stunning looking monitors, that sound quite good. Currently I am using them as speakers for one of my (red also; see pics) 61 key digital keyboards, and they make the general midi piano sounds from my keyboard sound so much better! The packaging was Superb for these! And size and weight are just perfect for my setup. I swear I feel like they should be in an art gallery they look so fancy!! Edifier seems to be a good company, and itโs a plus that they are quite highly regarded for their speakers and monitors; especially for the value for price. I recommend these very highly! Iโm glad I stumbled upon them. ๐ผ๐

Looks great but sound not so much
Purchased based on past experience with Edifer and loved the look to match my monitor set up but the sound just isn't there. 5 for appearance but 1 for sound.
