Came sharp, but sharpened ever better with care. Keep it oiled. It is a great quality sword. Basic, but very tasteful.

Best sword for the price . very sharp awesome wood work not heavily lacquered so you can get a good grip on handle. Very well built every thing is tight no rattles. comes with stand and hard case . I would recommend it for any collection.it is full tang and has two brass pegs instead of bamboo to hold the handle together.
