KONNWEI KW310 OBD2 Reader Universal Car Diagnostic Scanner Tool for OBDII/EOBD CAN Vehicles Engine Code Reader (Black)

I have used this to investigate and clear my engine management codes without any issues on my Ford Mondeo Mk4. Very easy to use and enables "simple" home fixes and engine warning light resets, Also gives an informed knowledge of more serious problems that require garage mechanics etc. so avoiding any unexpected surprises. Worth every penny!

I had a recent engine management fault and reading reviews on konnwei OLBD reader and seemed to be what I was looking for. It arrived the following day plugged the connection plug in and read the on screen display menu. After finding the fault code it asks you to erase and hey presto the warning lamp disappeared and fingers crossed it’s been cured. I can honestly say for it’s low price it’s worth having one before you take your vehicle to a garage.By the way my car is a 2009 MINI Cooper s but like they say will work on most vehicles.

This is great for the price! When my car broke I ordered this and it arrived the next day with Prime.Before it arrived, a friend used their diagnostic device on my car, which they get on their phone and pay £30 per month for. Theirs found misfires on all 4 cylinders, but it didn't find the right details for my issues as it had to search the internet!This Konnwei however worked really well, and showed that it was the spark plugs that had issues. It couldn't tell that the coils also had issues though, as after replacing the spark plugs there was still a problem. So I took the car to a mechanic who used a £5000 diagnostic tool and got it sorted.So for the price compared to a very professional one, this device is great. It definitely reassured me that I was at least okay to drive the car to the mechanic as an emergency. It is better than a lot of more expensive devices out there, but obviously can't compare to a £5000 one.

Great little gadget!The check engine light came up on my leon and I didn't want to waste money at a garage if it was something simple I could deal with myself.I plugged it in and withing seconds found out it was just an open circuit on a glow plug! Removed the check engine light and no problems at all! (apparently it's a common glitch with modern diesels)Well worth the money just for this diagnosis alone!

I have connected this OBD device to both my Car and also to my Motorbike.You will need to have the ignition switched on for it to read any data.It does provide basic information as well as live data, appears able to read any fault codes including EML and also enables you to delete the codes as well.Its a small light and compact device. bright green LCD display. basic up, down, cancel/back, enter/confirm buttons.

Engine light came on on my Ford C-Max so was a little worried whether to drive it or not. Would have taken a good few days to get it booked in at a garage & also potentially steep diagnostic charge. So I decided to try this little gadget see if I could find what was up. Easy to use I plugged it into port under steering wheel & within seconds I had 2 x error code displayed. A quick google told me it was an airflow sensor & was not serious. Cleared the code & still waiting to see if it returns. Definitely a very useful tool to have around!

Terrible piece off kit.save up and buy a proper one.i used this 2 times and does not show any faulty codes even though I know I do have faulty codes on my car it’s a cheap no good item.stopped working plug it in no power does not work even when it did it did not show any faults .when I plug it in now there is no power just flickers.you buy cheap you get poor quality item like I said buy a proper brand item .this konnwei kw 310 is poorly made and does not work.returning for refund.
