Denim Look Crochet Prayer Shawl
I ordered this yarn because I loved the beautiful look of it not knowing what I would make with it. I needed to make a prayer shawl and decided this yarn would be perfect and transcend all ages. The woman I gave it to said she loves it and it lifts her spirits when she wears it. It work with blue jeans or dresses, all age groups!

Beautiful!
Really like this yarn - it works up so pretty, as do all the Mandala yarns! Great to work with, and really silky soft! I am making a shawl out of it, and have made many blankets. It is my favorite!

Not quite worsted-weight; gorgeous colors and texture; works well for double-wrapped loom knitting
This yarn felt a little thinner than most CYC #4 yarns. Its texture resembles that of 6-stranded cotton embroidery thread, although it stays in one piece more easily than 6-strand. The color shadings are just gorgeous, with a hand-painted or dip-dyed appearance that makes lovely tweedy variations in knitting. This worked very well in a double-wrapped e-loop (twisted stockinette) stitch for loom knitting babies' and toddlers' hats; double-wrapping (by two trips around the loom--one per strand) kept the colors in register so that the hats were color-blocked/shaded rather than marled.

Best yarn!
This is such an amazing yarn. Very soft and great to make lightweight blankets or for a baby blanket. The colors blend so beautifully

Lovely yarn, but colors occasionally join with knots
This yarn works up really prettily. It’s soft and washes well and softens more with washing. However, randomly in the yarn (sometimes with color joins, sometimes with the same color), the yarn will be knitted, joining two pieces. Sometimes the cake will have multiple knots, sometimes only one knot. This seems to be a commonality among all these Lion brand mandala cakes, as I had the same issue with a couple skeins of “Troll” I used to make a baby blanket.I made a scarf with it, and as now making a baby blanket. Please note, on the scarf I intentionally cut out the green and light blue colors, so it would match a knitted hat that my mother made from a skein of this yarn. The hat didn’t make it to the light blue or green colors, so I cut them out for the scarf.Overall, I will keep using this yarn, because the knots are not a huge bother to me. However, I know some crafters really dislike it and won’t use this yarn because of it. To each their own.

A pleasure to work with. Didn’t have any knots in the entire skein and very soft.

Worth it!
It’s a little expensive but it’s definitely worth it as it’s not easily available where I am in the world ! I bought six & I’ll probably get 3 projects out of my order, as each ball is 150g. Beautiful to work with and the colours are bright & vibrant. Used a 5mm crochet hook as it’s quite thick but so soft & easy to work with.

Par excellence
Beautiful and very soft wool, in my opinion thinner than aran wool. Fantastic to work with colour change is spectacular on blankets. Worth every penny.

nice wool, few quirks
the wool feels very soft but once i'd crocheted up some squares with it they were really stiff, it just wasnt how i was expecting the wool to behave, not neccesarily bad.and when sewing squares together the wool has a habbit of splitting quite a lot, the strands unravel from each other at the cut end, it's still workable was just a little annoying.everything else is great, the colours are vibrant, wool is still soft even though it's stiff somehow, had no problems with it when working with just a hook

Yarn splitting beyond use
I am usually a lover of Lionbrand Mandela yarn cake so I was very excited to try the ombré version but boy was I so disappointed as the yarn was impossible to work with it kept splitting so much I ended up having to abandon my babies blanket
