A Really Good Deal On A Simple Desk
I purchased the 60" desk and yes, the top is in two pieces. They're held together by a bracket that cinches the two halves together just fine if you hold them tight while you tighten. If you don't want a two piece top get a smaller desk or spend $200 more a full one-piece 60" slab. Not really sure what makes this a "gaming" desk besides the color (it's black btw, perhaps "gamer void black"?) but as a desk it's quite effective. It holds things off of the floor which isn't an ideal gaming surface unless you're playing Twister. I guess its a terrible desk to play Twister on but my computer, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and two 27" monitors fit with enough room to spare for a drink, snacks, and the occasional cat. Without a full computer I could probably fit three 27" monitors and perhaps two additional cats.I can't say it's rock solid sturdy but it's sturdy enough for most desk activities (remember, Twister is not a desk activity but we already covered that). Assembly was pretty straightforward and they even included a few spare parts just in case. I can be a little ungainly to move around once assembled so I recommend putting it together in the room you plan to use it in.TL;DR This is a good simple desk that has plenty of room that is also a bad surface to play Twister.

Amazing quality and function.
This table is very sturdy, easy to assemble, more adjustable than any other I could find (really wanted the slightly lower height). Packaging was the best I've ever seen, all kinds of reinforcement of edges, corners and even inside. I didn't think I'd care so much for the giant mouse pad, but it's more attractive and useful than I imagined. I can't understand the reviews that say it wobbles or does not align, my experience is all positive. My husband clamped a monitor swing arm on his with no balance or weight issues. This is a very solid, heavy-duty table. I like the simple, but very functional design. I've had all kinds of computer tables and desks over the years and have to say that this one is the best. All that for a very good price too!

Great for those who want a short desk
If you've ever looked into desk ergonomics, you've probably figured out that most standard desks are just too high for a majority of people to be proper. Unfortunately, lots of people resort to buying expensive sit/stand desks solely for its ability to lower below the standard 28" desk height. That being said, this desk is a god send because not only can you adjust it to be VERY low, but its also significantly cheaper than the alternative sit/stand desks. All that aside, the desk is surprisingly sturdy and looks great. I have 2 large monitors mounted to the desk without issue, and everything has been holding up great for the last few months.Only con for me is purely aesthetic, which is that the desk-top is actually two pieces, so there is a line down the middle of the desk where the two pieces meet. Doesn't effect functionality at all, just wanted to point it out.

Top is two parts, not one
I'm pretty torn between giving this a 4 or 5 star review. Putting the desk together, for instance, was an absolute breeze until it wasn't, and there were a row of bolts where the opening was about an eighth of an inch off. The desk got put together, but it was weird finding one spot so off when the rest fit together so cleanly. Outside of this issue, assembly was very easy for one person.Another annoyance of mine is that part of what swung me from towards picking the 4 foot desk over the 5 was that I wanted a solid desktop surface, but apparently they either changed it or photoshopped it out. Both sizes will have a two-part board that is fastened together. It isn't that the surface doesn't feel sturdy, I just feel it was a bit deceptive. My last complaint is that the height brackets appear to be at two-inch intervals, which I don't understand. The legs are very sturdy, and putting holes in every inch feels like a more logical choice for personal customization. With my complaints out of the way, I am very happy with this. I have the height set to #2, which is 26 inches, and it is so refreshing having a surface at a lower height for writing, typing, and drawing. The shortest setting I could find on many other desks was 28 inches, with the norm being 29-30. I would recommend this for people looking to customize their desk/table height at a fairly affordable rate.I do notice my monitors slightly jiggling when I type, but I would place the blame on the desk being on a carpeted surface. It's not super heavy, such as you might find with a standing desk, so being on a hard surface with VESA mounted monitors will maximize stability. The desk itself doesn't appear to have any wobble.

Great for short people, at low settings!
I'm 5'0" and this is the only desk I've ever had that fits me properly! (Actually, 1" shorter would be even better, but I only found preschool tables at that height.)I use it with a children's chair (name below; admittedly ~1" too tall at lowest setting) and am very happy with my setup. When I built it and set it at the lowest height, it looked INSANELY low, but turns out that's actually what I need as most desks are too tall even for average-sized adults. It's large and sturdy enough for my 2 external monitors plus laptop.Chair: SitRite Ergonomic Kids Desk Chair Children Study Student Computer Home School Office Height Control Easy to Assemble (Piano Black Leather, Swivel)

Awesome desk
So mom put this together in 20 mins, excellent instructions, sturdy and my son loves it! He was able to adjust to perfect height with his gaming chair and it even came with this huge mouse pad that he loves. It was pricy for not real wood but looks great in his space and he loves his Christmas present!
