This flashlight is one of those near perfect items that does exactly what it states. It is sturdy, well-designed, ideal to illuminate large areas. Exactly what I wanted and I’m extremely happy with this product!

I purchased this because I was going on a fishing trip and this was advertised as floating. Well, I did go on the trip, but it was during the day. No catastrophizes so we were not stranded out in the dark. It is now my go-to flashlight at home. It tucks nicely in my armpit (so that I have both hands free). The longer thin ones work well but I think this one is more comfortable.

I really like this flashlight and it is holding up well. The low light is plenty for walking at night. Shining it down at your feet you can't tell much difference between the low and high settings. The high setting is probably more useful if you wanted to see something farther away. On the high setting I stood in my front yard and shined it over my house at a tree in my backyard and it did a good job lighting it up. I think it's more comfortable to hold than a stick style flashlight. The flashing light setting and the stand on top are two things it has most people will never or rarely use. The stand is nice to have if you had to use it as a work light in a pinch, but it is not the most stable and the beam is more like a spotlight and it would be difficult to aim it exactly where you wanted it. If you want something in between a flashlight and a spotlight, that works well and is comfortable to hold then this is it. I have some really good stick flashlights that I love and work great, but this is usually the light I grab first and use the most.

Great little flashlight. Works fine in the rain. Battery operated, non-rechargeable. Best part is the way I can hold it, very comfortable vs regular straight flashlight. The light is bright and wide. The only thing I wish it had the adjustable light setting for far and close.

First they sent a small IV flashlight then I contacted Amazon and Amazon said they would pick up. I told them to NOT reorder as I did not trust Gearlight now . I then received a 2 AA battery cheap flashlight the next day that sorta resembled the one I ordered. I had ordered a rechargeable, waterproof one! The item was not even in a box !!! The original UV light was never picked up and I found it out back in rain today after work. Amazon has changed, unreliable. I don’t care if it is Christmas. Gearlight and Amazon are not reliable!

This is perfect for our office when we need it. We chose battery in case the power was out longer than what a rechargeable unit would need.
