I've owned several 400W and 1000W Hortilux bulbs, MH and HPS, as well as other brands, and I've been fully satisfied with every Hortilux. Worth the higher price.

Check the manufacture date!
I'm sure this product is fine but I received mine with a manufacture date of 2010! I emailed Eye Hortilux to confirm.Check the monogram! Hortilux provides info on how to tell if bulb is used or when it was manufactured.I love Eye Hortilux! Best in the biz that's why I'm not giving a one star.I order a new bulb and definitely don't want a bulb for $70+ for a 400w manufactured 10 years ago even if it wasn't used. Ordering from a different seller.
