AZSSMUK Single Split Clamp-On Shaft Collars of Metal Material 1-3/4 inch Bore Set Screw

I do not recommend this 3/4" single split. It is too narrow and the contractor who came over said he could not fit it over the rod without hammering it in place. Doing that would not only require repainting but given the extremely tight fit would be impossible to adjust in any subtle fashion. Apple wrote the seller on my behalf requesting a prepaid mailing label, given the issues cited. The seller refunded in full but declined to provide a prepaid label, even though the return would have been unnecessary had these shaft collars been the proper fit. I would recommend the double split collar to be on the safe side -- or else another seller, if you need a single-split collar.

One of the other comments said that they had difficulty getting these over a 3/4" shaft. I had similar issues. I literally had to drive one over a shaft that was exactly 3/4" in diameter and then drive it into position. It works but could be SO much better if the opening was just a little larger.

I thought they worked great. I used them on some gate hinges and they locked it down so there is no moving up and down anymore. Definitely worth the cost.

Tight tolerances. Make sure you have a 1.00 or smaller dia shaft. The tolerance is very tight, which is great, but some people are not used to that.

Purchased these for the front wheels of my john deere. The wheels kept popping the e clips off. No longer an issue havnt lost a wheel since i put these on

Fits a 1/2" axel perfectly. Much better quality than what I expected for the cost.

If you are making or fixing your 1" dumbbells or barbells, you can use these shaft collars on the hand grip area to prevent your weights from sliding over your grips.
