Q: why is this called a “michigan” cutting board? it should be “lower michigan.” it’s not michigan without both peninsulas!!!!!!!!

I agree. I don’t live there anymore but am originally from MI. I wish there was a ‘Upper one to go with it.

Q: Can this be used as a serious cutting board or is it more of a serving piece?

Mine is the pineapple. I use mine as wall decoration in my kitchen, so have not put the cutting board "to the test". My sister-in-law has one of Texas and uses it every day without problems.

Q: Can this be engraved? Would it look okay?

Yes it can be. I will look beautiful. Be sure to use mineral oil or cutting board oil( food safe) to seal it.

Q: Will you be adding more states to your collection? Would love an Illinois board like this!

If I do order another, it will be an Oklahoma one. Good quality and good size for the price.
