VTech Kidizoom Camera Pix, Pink (Frustration Free Packaging)

Great starter camera for a four year old. Quality of images is poor, but kids have a lot of fun clicking snaps and applying effects.

My 6 year old little boy cried when his sister had one of these cameras and he didn't...well I ordered it right away to help blot away the tears. He has loved it every day since it arrived, he waited for the package every day until it came. It is durable and just the right size...he take pictures and videos...it has fun little games for him to play. It even does timed shots. A great durable toy for fun to play with for growing minds. I'm not plugging for a particular company but I have noticed V tech makes great toys for children, durable and playful and this was another worthwhile purchase from them!

This starter camera exceeded all my expectations. I gave it to my 4yr old granddaughter and she was thrilled by it. Very attractive colours, quirky design in robust soft feel plastic that is easy to hold and use. It is fun! The operation seemed to be quite intuitive to her and she was taking great creative images straight away. It really is point and shoot and, just like the Lomo cameras, produces distinctive idiosyncratic images. It seems to be child proof; it can be dropped without damage and the little lens is well protected from sticky fingers etc. The battery life is excellent, 600+ images and videos so far on the first set. (There is a little niggle with the battery covers, they popped off when dropped but were easy to refit.)It is a very basic no frills camera with small image and video files but, when uploaded to a computer via the microSD card, proved to be much better than expected. They were easy to incorporate into a photobook and to print.Suffice to say I have ordered another for myself so that I can have fun too.

Muy buena camara, bastante resistente. Muy fácil de sujetar y usar para los niños. Su pantalla es muy clara e incluye juegos y sonidos. La calidad de las fotografías no es muy buena, pero está bien considerando el precio y el usuario a quién está dirigida.El único detalle es que usa 4 pilas AA, hubiera sido mejor que tuviera batería recargable, pero por el costo de la cámara está bien.
