Great quick super glue ideal for quick jobs. Sets in about 10 seconds trued ot on other materials but not as good as wood on wood.

As far as glues go, this is a great product as it bonds extremely quickly and is super strong too (once fully dried). However, looking at some of the reviews on here, you'd be forgiven for thinking that this product can be used by itself when in reality, it needs the activator spray for it to be any use. Whilst the requirement for an activator spray might seem cumbersome, it actually makes it more flexible as it gives you more time to apply the glue to subject material.One aspect I don't understand is that purchasing the adhesive (this product) by itself is significantly more expensive than purchasing it with the activator spray - at the time of writing, buying the activator spray with the adhesive will save you over £5 when compared to just buying the adhesive by itself. This is superglue for wood. The accelerator spray works with it to speed the setting. With the spray it sets in 10-15 seconds and gives a good strong bond. Perfect for mitre joints in moldings and other lightweight applications. I also use it to reattach bits of wood that split off when carving.

This is one component of a two part system, and it's excellent that they're available separately as well as bundled as a complete kit. Purchasing the kit saves you money, but if you're reading this listing it's likely you already have the product, but have run out of the glue. To activate it you need a tin of spray-on accelerator.The system is a clever one, and it makes rapid and accurate assembly easier than pre-mixing a two part glue like Araldite. Instead of racing to join components before your adhesive cures, with this one you spray the accelerator on one component and spread this glue on the other. Joining them together is less rushed and it activates the glue and causes it to rapidly set. Ten seconds of pressure is all you need until tackling the next component. It really does speed up your work flow, and is very useful for all sorts of jobs. Marquetry is one, butt joints, repairing broken mouldings and splintered wood - all sorts of things. The last time I used it was bonding a fiddly balustrade component that had no chance of being clamped up for conventional gluing.This is an acyanoacrylate adhesive, so be careful not to stick your fingers together when you hold your components together during the set. Neat working is easy though, and a further benefit over pre-mix systems is a complete absence of over-mixed and wasted product. I always keep MitreFast in my workshop because it's so quick and useful, so I'm very happy to recommend it to you. But as I say, if you're new to the product, buy the two part kit - it will save you money.

Mitre fast is incredibly fast and strong glue for rapid assembly of joints in time important projects.I Used it in a kitchen build and for worktop framing.It's a two part system - this is the adhesive - you also need the spray activatorIt only allows for minor repositioning in use - you need to have good close fitting surfaces.Great stuff.

Ruddy great big bottle of superglue. Probably cant be called superglue, its probably a registered trademark but apart from the smell giving it away as well as its ability to weld fingers (original superglue was invented as a skin glue!) its ingredient is cyanoacrylate - or superglue!As this is superglue it sticks and doesnt let go unless you use too much or dont get the parts together quickly enough. It doesnt work as well on porous surfaces, the glue absorbs before you can get the two things to join together.Before use, unscrew the black cap (yep, thats a lid) the cut the very top bit off the white inner nozzle. Dont trim too much off as the glue will either come out too fast or dry up quickly!

I can never refuse adhesive products, on the basis that they will always come in handy in time!This particular product is certainly made for those little jobs around the home and some of the woodworking jobs as the name would suggest!It comes in a little squeezy type bottle which has a cut off applicator which is handy for getting into smaller gaps!
