Fixed a problem with MBA38 boom arm and SP04 shock mount!
Worked perfectly to fix my problem. Apparently, when I ordered my Samson MBA38 microphone boom arm and Samson SP04 shock mount, the company (not Amazon) sent me a UK model of the mount and a NA boom arm! Needless to say, they didn’t fit, and my return window had expired. After a little research I found out these adapters exist and yay, problem solved! Also this is a quality piece and feels very sturdy and fits snugly.

I read that this is the mic stand attachment I needed for my Moog Theremini.
I needed this attachment for my Moog Theremini. It is made of super, high quality material. I haven't gotten the stand yet to try it out; though I had read that this is the particular mic stand attachment that I needed to hold my Theremini.

Needs a washer
This adapter worked OK for fitting an azden SGM 1X camera shotgun mic onto a mic stand. The only drawback was that I had to use my own washer on the 3/8M part because the threading doesn't go all the way to the bottom which meant that when I screwed the adapter into the camera shockmount it would just spin around when it was screwed all the way in. I put the washer on so it would screw on tight and now it's exactly what I need. If the adapter had the threads all the way to the bottom it would have gotten 5 stars.

Sturdy. Works well.
I needed this to mount a Moog Theremini for live performance, which is way larger than any microphone I know of. And it works perfectly to support my prized little (actually, very large) oddity. Mundane but at times necessary, if you need an adapter like this, it does the job well.
