They work like a 3 prong adapter is supposed to.

These were just what I needed. I wasn't able to use my 3-pronged corded laptop on my bed because the extension cord only works for 2 prongs and it was way too much of a hassle to move it. When the adaptors came, they seemed really snug but it comes out easily from the outlet if I'm not careful. It could be an issue with the extension cord, but I'll update a accordingly if it is. Update: does come out easily from one of my outlets, but it's the outlet and not the adaptor.

It doesn’t get any easier than this. Fit perfectly as one would expect. Ordered these cheater plugs for my parents as their generator would trip when running their refrigerator. I don’t remember where I first learned that this will stop that from happening but after they lost power due to a hurricane they needed a way to keep their fridge running for food and my fathers insulin cold. I’m not giving advice just telling you it works…this has worked on 2 different generators that were raised high enough to run their refrigerator equipment but for whatever reason a fridge likes to trip without one.

Not a bad product. We utilized it for outdoor use even though it doesn't say that you can or should. It works fine though , we don't keep it plugged in and both our wall outlet outdoors and our cord we connected it to are both gfi covered. If only it was made for outdoor use, it would be great. The cost was very reasonable as well.
