We don't have crazy home cinema requirements, and wanted a cheap soundbar that did the basics well. And that's what we have with this device. It doesn't promise outlandish virtual surround or similar, simply a robust upgrade for your TV speaker.This is the second Bomaker sound bar I've purchased, and they've both been pretty good. This one has a good range of volume. By that I mean it has good clarity of speech and music at low volume, and doesn't distort when cranked up. Yes it'll distort at max volume but so does every speak I've ever owned. The 4 speakers offer decent stereo separation that can be heard well, whilst the sub box gives it some kick.Comparing watching "the boys" on Amazon Video, it really was like chalk and cheese. The default Sony speakers did an alright job, but turning this on with a little crank in the volume really brings out the sound design. There was much more separation in the sound, meaning the background, sound effects, music and dialogue all seem more distinct.Like I said, the main reason for this was to make the sound better. My wife has consistently struggled with muddy, incoherent dialogue from the Sony TV speakers. I'm pleased to say that when we turn on the sound bar it's lovely and clear for both of us.From a technical point of view, I haven't really extensively push the device, we have an optical PCM connection from the TV that automatically sends the sound to the bar, no mashing of buttons needed.It's great to see that the remote has an "LED off" button. I hate unnecessary LED's hanging around in your eyeline when watching TV, so it's good that this can go stealth!

This soundbar is a more than a decent upgrade to standard TV speakers. I had bought it as a budget soundbar, due to its low price I was only expecting a slightly better performance over my speakers however I am thoroughly surprised by their performance. The soundbar has 4 drivers and a sub, which adds a decent bass for movies and music. This isn't ground shaking bass by any means, however it adds plenty of oomph to the sound. Optical connection provides the best sound quality, there's a noticeable difference in sound in comparison to aux cable. The Bluetooth connection is instant and easy to set up. The remote control is simple to use however it does interfere with the TV LED backlights as they're probably on the same frequency, I have to figure something out with that. I wish I could control the soundbar with the TV remote however this isn't possible with most soundbars so I can't complain much.Overall this is an excellent upgrade to standard TV speakers and offers plenty at this price. A sub with this soundbar puts it way above others that do not have a sub at this price. I would highly recommend this product.

You can have it 2 sizes and comes complete with remote. It has bluetooth and cable settings and the sound is brilliant. It has different sound settings. It's made well and the remote for my tv/cable box dont interfere with it unlike my previous ones. Very very happy with this.

We've just upgraded to a 50 inch TV since we are spending so much time at home.The TV has an ok speaker on it but we really wanted something more immersive. We had a bit of cash to spend because we normally go to the cinema. So after seeing the reviews on this sound bar we were impressed enough to buy it.This was easy to set up, just connect to the TV via an optical cable (although the standard white and red cable are provided also) then connect power and away you go.It has three inputs, AUX, Bluetooth and Optical. The Bluetooth connects quickly.The remote works well and offers five equaliser options.The optical input is very clear and crisp as well as a very deep bass.It plays music via Bluetooth to a great quality.Very impressive 100 watts of bass power!

Found this soundbar, gotta say it is better than i expected with the price, wanted to buy a branded one before in a shop but the price is half of that price, my wife loves it when she plays relaxing music in the house. Perfect for surrounding sound effect which Our speakers don't have! And we have to put the sound bar , near projector for connecting it .which is fine , gonna move the sound bar to bedroom. So portable!! Well worth the money !loooove it

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I did some research on budget speakers and quality. This one was rated as one of the best so I bought it on some offer as well.I’m very pleased. Was easy to install and easy to use.I wasn’t update with the latest stuff but I’m very happy with the sound and I’ve read other people are as well who have better tv’s.I use it for my tv. It’s connected with my Amazon fire stick. Don’t know how to do it with my old tv. I also connect it to my iPhone.
