Megatech, portable c d boom box has excellent sound and excellent cd player. Much of the transmission on the radio stations, both f m and a m frequencies prove to be high static and very poor reception. I have attempted to test the radio frequency reception throughout many places.Within my home. The result remains the same. Okay, again, the c d sound is fantastic.

Clear sound and volume. Offers FM radio, audio and MP3 CD compatibility, bluetooth connectivity, USB, digital FM tuning with 30 presets. The controls are on the front for ease of use I like the style and sound. Is portable with the use of batteries or can be plugged into an AC outlet. This is a great player for my collection of CDs.

Sound quality matches it's price honestly. Could it be better, yeah but I'd expect to pay more. Thankful it comes with an equalizer function to change its levels to preset options. ROCK setting is best one imo. So a downside is every time it's unplugged I have to reset that equalizer as it resets. Would likely be fixed with batteries... also careful running it for long periods in high heat. The LCD display could turn off completely till it cools down, or my worst fear was it just staying dead... Thankfully it did not! I bought this for nostalgia mostly of listening to CD's when I was younger...and this captured that nostalgia effectively. Affordable and does the trick.

So I bought this strictly for the CD player and at first it was confusing getting the CD to play. You have to use the menu and not only pick cd to play but also and this was the tricky part a type of sound you want for example jazz, pop, etc. Anyway, finally figured it out and was so pleasantly surprised by the really good quality of the sound. Very solid and clear and not at all tinny. It really easily blew past my expectations. I mean it is what it is but for the price it’s just absolutely a winner and it’s good looking.

Big hit My Grandson turned 8 and is getting into music he loves the ease of use and sounds great without to much base. Has an extendable antenna and a good digital read out we also love the usb port for added music of his choice.

The compact size is good for where I wanted to use it. It seems sturdy and the sound from the two speakers is good. I have been told I have a tin ear so take the quality of the sound given by a non expert musician. I connected this player up to my Sony speakers so that really improved the quality. The only thing that I’m not happy about is how the top lid you lift to place a CD in the player. The lid doesn’t open all the way so you have to squeeze the disk and your fingers in the limited opening. The picture will show that it is fully open and only goes about 2/3 open. I was looking for a CD player that was smaller in size and had OK quality sound….at a price that didn’t break the budget and this is exactly what I got.

I recently bought this CD player to replace my 20 year old one. I was looking for something that would have better (booming) speakers than my old one, but this player isn't it. It's a nice player, but it just doesn't have the blast I was hoping for. Truthfully, my 20 year old one sounds so much better than this new one. I still use it, but I'm not really happy with the sound quality. Needs more base. UPDATE: Really not pleased with this player atall. Recently, it has started to shut off. I leave the radio on during the day, to keep my cat company while I'm at work, and when I get home, the radio is off. Sometimes it even sounds stadicky. If I tap it, the sound will go back to normal. I wish I would have sent it back a long time ago. Not worth the money.

I really like this lightweight, compact CD player. I still have my old boom box from the late 90’s, but I wanted something less bulky that I could easily take with me from room to room. I love that it plays FM radio stations. I never listen to AM stations, so I’m not missing out on anything. I also love that this CD player has a power cord that I can plug into an outlet. I personally don’t care for having to use USB cables to charge devices. I’m old school. I’m tickled pink that I can plug an old-school pair of headphones into it and not disturb everyone else in the house. I can’t speak about the Bluetooth functionality because I don’t use it for that. I have a couple of wireless speakers that I use to amplify digital music. I took away one star for three reasons. The CD player does not come with a remote. I have to walk over to the CD player to skip ahead to the songs I want to hear on a CD. A remote control would make using this item much more convenient. My second complaint is the image on the play/pause button is confusing. I had to look at the instruction manual to understand what that button does. My third complaint is the display screen shows the playtime of each song instead of showing the track number being played. I’d rather look at the display screen and immediately know what track is being played. I don’t need to know how many minutes I am into a song. Despite my three dislikes, I would still recommend this CD player for its affordable price and portability.

Good product and reasonably priced. Sound is good and everything is functional

I bought this CD Player for my daughters birthday. She was so excited to set it up. When we removed it from the box we were disappointed to find it had an American plug and not suitable for Australia. I'll have to sort out a plug adaptor.

This cd player is a good size and has good sound. Worth the price and enjoying it so far.

It sounds so much better than expected. The FM is not great but I just needed it for CDs so that's not an issue for me. Fast shipping and well packed.

Exceeded my expectations. Perfect for a bedroom where you don’t want the music too loud. Works well and easy to use. The CD player door is a little scary the first time you open it, as it’s geared for an easy self close, so you feel like you’re going to strip a mechanism when opening. The actual boombox is a little darker of a blue than it appears in the photos.
