Ezer to Open POP Barrel Lanyard/necklace Buckle Connectors for Paracord

Worked great for making a paracord necklace that will break away in the event of an emergency/choking situation. The only issue I had was that you can't tie a knot in the end of the cord. Problem solved by melting the end of the cord and making it large enough that it won't pull back through.

I purchased these safety breakaway clasps for children's necklaces. They worked in a pinch... However, they were not perfect.I did not like the opening of the clasps, the holes were extremely huge and I had to learn to tie different sailors knots to accommodate the large hole. The breakaway feature is extremely stiff; it takes a great deal of force to break them apart.I think if you're using these with paracord, for adult accessories, then they would be better. But for me, I prefer the old school barrel, breakaway, clasps-which I can no longer find.

These due what I intended them to do making lanyard but the amount of force needed to separate the parts is really inconsistent.

Ordered these to use when making a survival lanyard for work out of paracord. As a teacher you occasionally need to break up fights and so I wanted to make sure my lanyard was break away in case someone or something got caught on it. Especially considering how tough paracord is, you neck would break before that stuff does :(They work as expected and allow me to pull the lanyard apart to put on or remove from my neck as well as popping apart if the lanyard gets caught on something. My only complaint is that I didn't need 20 of these things, but that was smallest quantity you could order. It would be nice to be able to order smaller quantities like 5.

Really not much to say about an item like this. Shipping was prompt. They seem to function as expected,

They work very well, maybe just a little to well. I had to take a small file to some of the female ends just s little so they would snap a little easier.
