How do you gain access to t he battery?

I am sorry but someone else did it for me . Good Luck

Does this battery fit into the Dyson wall hanger for the V6?

Yes. Works great! Saved my Dyson and saved me $300

Is there a warranty on this battery?

I don't know. But I can say it works great. I think it lasts longer than the original battery. I bought mine April 2021

I inserted the new replacement battery but the vaccuum doesn’t go on. Is there any other setup needs to be done other than just placing it in?

Double check the instructions and then charge it. Also check the Dyson manual to confirm that the problem was in fact the battery, might take a little more trouble shooting, something about the color of the light when it’s charging. Best of luck, it’s so frustrating.
