While these are supposed to work as stand-alone ear protection, I still use foam ear plugs in addition to these because hearing needs to be protected as much as possible. That doesn't mean these are inadequate by themselves. It just means I like extra protection. Since these do not completely cover your external ear, some sound bleed is inevitable. That said, these are great hearing protectors for when you're shooting a rifle. Worn behind the head, they allow a mostly unimpeded cheek-to-stock weld. The quality is good and sound suppression adequate. I'm quite happy with this purchase!

I bought these so I could wear ausie style hat while shooting in a combat league. They are light weight and comfortable to wear. This is strictly handgun shooting. Mostly 38 spl., 9 mm and some downloaded 45 acp. the hearing protection was fine for this level of firearm shooting. I would use my full size muffs for high power rifle shooting. For what I use them for they work well and is what I was looking for. I would recommend and would buy again. Good value.

These headphones worked great for a couple weeks. They fit great and were comfortable. Good noise canceling headphones but after a couple of weeks I went to adjust the size of the headphones and the plastic snapped with minimal pressure.

You will think this funny but I bought these specifically to use when I grind coffee. I keep them in the kitchen drawer. They are small and compact. We love fresh ground coffee and I hate the noise. These work perfectly.

Keeps noise not completely out like full headsets, and you have to adjust them every 10 minutes.But on the other hand I don't have these areas on my full noise cancelling headsets, where range sound seeps through when I wear my range glasses. In addition, on a positive note, you don't notice them anymore after a while, because the weight is minimal. and no pressure onto your sides of your head, which you regularly get when you wear the full sets.

I’m in and out of noisy spaces 10-20 times a day. Earmuff-style are too big to carry, so they get left. Squeeze-type for each ear get lost. This one has effective protection while on, but more important you can hang it around your neck all day. Too big to get lost, light enough I’ll leave them around my neck all day. Finally, a durable solution.

Good fit if you follow instructions. The headband was a little difficult to adjust, so I actually had to do step 3 before step 2 with the unit off my head, then repeat 3 & 2 until it fit right. Once I got the right fit & ear-seal, it worked great! I could hear range commands, but loud sounds were muffled.

I bought these for my son to wear while hunting from a blind. I'm a firearms instructor and tested them at the range with 40 guns going off at same time. They worked as advertised. I could still hear all range commands easily.
