Work great
These worked great when tightening the garage door Spring.

Good lenght, but slip out of the holes
Sturdy, good lenght provides a lot of leverage. However, care must be taken to keep the rods in the holes they tend to slip out which can make for a very bad day

Saved me $$$
I had a smaller garage door with the cable off the wheel on one side and decided with the COVID topic, along with cost to not call a professional repair person for this task; so purchased these adjustment rods. The cable on wheel, and adjustment of door was all resolved in about 1/2 hour. The door has never been so easy to lift or close since the home was built in 1994. Initially, I was in a bit of doubt if I would be strong enough after major spine surgeries to accomplish this, but these tools made all very easy and fast. I then moved to the other large, double sprung garage door for checking the spring tension and made an adjustment on one side that was off, compared to the other. Now that door goes up and down super easy also. I figure to have saved myself about $200, plus no person over with the Pandemic. I would purchase these adjustment bars again.

Go to YouTube and watch the video before adjusting.
I watched a couple of YouTube videos, ordered the winding bars and saved $100.00 fixing my door myself. Garage repair shop wanted $75.00 just for show up. Don't try this with a screw driver, get the right tool. It is so easy after watching the video. Just remember, without knowledge to use these properly, you can be seriously injured. If you only think you can do this without seeing it done, do yourself a favor... Look at your kids and wife before you decide to rip your eyes from their sockets by doing this wrong. You may never be able to see them again!

Works Well
They worked well as advertised. They are turned down to a slightly smaller diameter on one end but it wasn't necessary for my garage doors. The only improvement I would make would be to have them dipped in a rubberized coating to help with corrosion over the years.

Does the job
Waited two weeks for Lowes to deliver these. They never came. Ordered these at a better price and they were in my hand in a few days. Good quality

Not what was pictured
Received my winding bars and they are round rods not hexagon. Also only one size on each end instead of one end being smaller

Perfect
Exactly what i ordered work perfectly

not as asvertised
Picture clearly shows hex shaped bars, this is important if you wind/unwind springs regularly because you can set them down on your ladder/header/top section of door without them rolling, the bars I was sent were round. Ok for occasional use, they will get the job done but useless for professional uses. Waste of 50$ I should have went to a local steel shop for that price.
