A handy device
The fact that it can be hung or stood inside the oven makes it very convenient to use. The temperature measurement is accurate and sensitive to even slight changes of the oven knob. I realised that my oven’s heat setting was off by close to 5 degrees, so this thermometer was much-needed for sensitive bakes. I wish the base was a bit heavier, so it wouldn’t get knocked over easily. While pushing a baking tray into the oven, the thermometer inevitably topples over. Since I want to shut the door quickly and it’s quite fiddly to pick up with oven gloves on, I also wish it had a heat-proof handle.

The best oven thermometer. Stainless steal always clean. Perfect double option of usage, standing perfectly on the oven tray or hangs from the rack. The big screen allows to read the temp without having to open oven door

Measures good. The standing part is very small, it's not easy to fix it when you hold it with glove.

We were having issues with the termperature in our electric stove and so I got two thermometers (to test them off against each other) but while we are awaiting the second one (it comes tomorrow) we did test this one and it proved that the oven is not reading correctly -- the second thermometer will really clinch that finding, assuming they agree. This unit is inexpensive, simple and feels well made. Recommended.
