Holy Grail
Man I was trying to get a prepaid ezpass from the Payomatic NYC locations for a long time. They sold out and haven’t gotten more in quite awhile. Something told me to look on Amazon and the reviews did it for me. I downloaded the app, added my funds and 4 days later took my trip. The Uni pass worked at every single toll from NY, NJ, DEL and Maryland. It was perfect because I stopped doing road trips due to the mail in tolls. They are terrible and get to you so late via mail. Please get this and register your plate! It’s so easy and less headache! I have absolutely no regrets.

Worked perfectly for me
We used this with a rental car in Chicago and parts of Indiana. I put in the car's information right before we left the parking garage at the airport and it recorded all our tolls immediately. It does take the app until the next day to show your receipts, but it worked so well for us. Easy to set up on the website or through the app. I did both. Paid for itself in one trip since no missed tolls were sent to the rental car company. The ability to change it to whatever car you are driving is so convenient!

Worked great!
Worked perfectly! Did take me a little time to figure out registration because I couldn’t figure out which number to use to activate it. It’s not the EZ pass barcode its the Fl Id barcode on the transponder. Other than that easy peasy! I can already see the deductions for several tolls on my account.

Has some limits. Needs ability to add a 2nd car to app.
As a frequent traveler and going between New England and the Southern states a lot, carrying both an EZ Pass and SunPass became a pain. Especially if you forget one. When I saw this, I figured I’d give it a shot. It’s a little more expensive on Amazon, but with wait times 2+ weeks on the EPass website, I figured it was worth the few dollars.Activation was a bit tricky. There’s 3 “serial numbers” printed on the unit - guessing one for E Pass, one for SunPass and one for EZ Pass systems and the instructions don’t specify which one you need to activate it on the website.Once I tried them all, the third one was the charm and it loaded and activated fine.A big negative for me is that you can only put one vehicle on the account at a time. So if you are renting a car, like me, you have to remember to log in, remove your existing info, and add your rental car. Then, remove the rental car and add your own, when done. EZ Pass and SunPass allow that easily.I do like not having two different transponders. I used it recently and worked well. It will take about a day or so for the amount in your account to change. At first I thought I did something wrong, but the customer service rep said it was just because of the way the services communicate, rather than a problem with the service, so expect a delay in your current balance if you check after going through a toll plaza.EZ Pass (depending on the state you get it from) either charges a monthly or yearly fee, or depending on your home state, gives you a discount for certain bridges. I don’t believe this will give any of those discounts, but I’m OK with just knowing I won’t have two transponders or dealing with annual or monthly fees.I also like that it works with so many states. I likely won’t be visiting most of the ones other than the typical East Coast, but I’m glad to have it.So far, so good. App is straight forward on the iPhone. Just wish they would add the option for a second car so you don’t have to delete your existing car to add a new one.For those with two cars regularly (rentals, or spouses, etc), you’ll probably want a separate transponder (or the sticker, which affixes to your windshield) rather than the hassle.I’ll be happy to be returning my SunPass and EZ Pass in the coming weeks.Update: On a recent trip, went through a Mass toll and still haven’t been charged. Not sure if there’s a problem with the unit (it’s been a few weeks) and all the other toll plaza’s in the other states registered ok. Hoping I don’t get a bill in the mail because this didn’t work in Mass (it’s supposed to). There was a sign saying EZ Pass from Mass was one price, EZ Pass from another state was another, and plate by mail was a third price. Assuming this wouldn’t get the Mass discount but won’t be pleased if I get billed by mail whether bc it didn’t work or simply isn’t an “EZ Pass” but an EZ pass “compatible” unit.

Worked perfectly in multiple states.
Easy to open an account through the phone app and configure device (add money and a license plate number). Mounted just under the rear view mirror, no problems with suction cup strength during 10 days of traveling, still no issue over a month later. The device worked exactly as it's supposed to, saving us considerable time by using EZPass lanes and Express Lanes in VA, DC, MD, Delaware, NJ, PA and NC. I see that it allows automatic Parking payment at some FL cruise ports and airports. I hope in the future that they can expand this to include most airport parking and any other similar places where they can integrate the billing into those systems. Great product, don't leave home without it!
