Models for Writers: Short Essays for Composition Eleventh Edition

This is an excellent resource of models for teachers of Language and writing, and for all writers. I have used this text with my students since Dec 1991 and was just thrilled to see the current avatar of the text and placed my order straight away. I don't regret buying this new edition - it's even better, even more thorough than the copy I bought in 1991. This is a must for all teachers, writing students and writers with a passion for writing.

I ordered this book and it came by the shipping date. It was in mint condition.I needed this book for a college course of mine and was looking for a decent price.It must be new and even if it wasn't, there's no way to tell!At my campus the book was expensive and here it was a bargain!Shocked I was actually able to buy a new book for this price.Good quality and came in on time (shipping date).This is the kind of good service that makes amazon my go-to site. :)

I got this from Kindle. Very interesting articles in this book. It helped me FLY right through MLA format without a sweat while my other friends without this book scrambles over Google for instruction for MLA format :) No this book isn't "50 shades of grey" but if you want good grades in your English class, look no further. Highly recommended!

I needed this for my college English class; it is a good compilation, with some really good writing samples. I was able to get this from amazon at almost 60% off what my college bookstore wanted to charge.

The product is exactly as it is stated. It was brand new, the first of 4 ordered books to arrive only 3 days after ordering. There was a little glue spot on the back that seems like I could scrape off if I wanted, but overall, it's a great book in great condition. It made me excited about school, and I never get excited about school. :)

This text was chosen by someone else, so I was a little anxious about it before it arrived. I'm pleased to say that the tone, structure, content and price of this text make it an excellent choice for teaching composition to incoming college freshmen.

but it will not down load to my brand new kindle white or my original kindle. Is this book not made for the ACTUAL kindle only the app? really frustrated as I just spent the money on the kindle white for my son who needs to read from something other than a book and I didnt want to have to take his ipad to school!

Its somehow good but not really neatI don't recommend it for people who like to use neat books
