A lovely 'ride'!
I have cycled all my life and currently own a Dahon 2013 Vitesse 8 speed folding cycle. Due to stupid motorists twice running into my Yamaha motorcycle decades ago I am now 'blessed' with Arthritis in my legs and hips. I also as a result of the above have a painful right 'Sit Bone'. I have tried gel saddles and Brooks saddles but still have pain. The Hobson Pro Hub X2 can only be described as amazingly comfortable. I used this saddle to ride to Warwick via the Stratford upon Avon canal to visit my daughter. I did make the mistake of setting the saddle top dead level. The saddle top needs to be sloping a bit otherwise you MIGHT get the saddle biting into your thigh behind your leg like mine did. If you read reviews of this saddle you will find reference of 'sliding forward'...this is rubbish. There is a gap between the two saddle pads that gives you the Brooks saddle.... 'coolness' ...without the 'Sitting on a old railway sleeper effect' of bone hard leather...you really need a few, say ten mile rides to get a comfortable position for YOUR bum. Feel free to carry on using your Brooks saddle if you like a 'numb bum'......however you don't get this with the Hobson saddle....so a great buy!
