Very Pleased! Working as Described! No Problems!
This review is for the La Crosse Alerts Mobile 926-25101-GP Wireless Monitor System Set with Dry Probe. I purchased four of them to replace some old wireless thermometers from Radio Shack that were failing. As of the date of this review, I've used the La Crosse System for 2 weeks.* Set UpThe directions were not as clear as they should be, but the set up went quickly. I used Internet Explorer on my Windows PC to do the set up. First, I performed the "Register New Gateway". Even though I received four gateways (one with each sensor), I only registered one, in the hopes that it would cover the entire house. It does! I then performed the "Register New Sensor", four times. The process was pretty straight-forward.* TestingSome of the reviews complain of inconsistent temperature readings, so I decided to do some testing. I put all four sensors on a table right next to each other - see picture. I also attached the dry probe to each of the sensors. I then gave them time for the temperatures to stabilize. I was very pleased to see that the temperatures from the sensors and the probes were very close to each other - see my testing results graphic. The temperatures from the sensors and dry probes, a total of eight readings, were all within 0.5 degrees.* Final SetupI have placed my four sensors and probes as follows:#: Sensor: Dry Probe1: In Basement on top of freezer: In the freezer2: Outside, in the shade: Right next to the sensor3: Attic: Right next to the sensor4: Kitchen, on top of refrigerator: In the freezer compartment of the refrigerator* User Interface (UI)I have been using the La Crosse Alerts Mobile web site via Internet Explorer on my Windows PC, and also using the La Crosse Alerts Mobile app on my iPhone. They both work very well, and the look and feel is pretty much the same for both. My main complaint about the UI is that you can only view the readings from one sensor at a time. In my case, if I want to check all four sensors, I have to select device #1 from the list, view the readings, then go back to the list, select device #2 from the list, view the readings, then go back to the list, and repeat that process for however many devices you have. That's not a very friendly user experience!I am not a web developer, but I was able to put some HTML together that allows me see all four devices in a single web page, using the "iframe" command. I can now see all the readings for all my devices on a single page. See attached graphic. I like it! However, the iPhone app is still just one device at a time.* ConclusionThe devices are working as described. The readings are consistent between devices, and consistent with other thermometers that I use. The ability to monitor the devices from anywhere that has internet access is great. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I recommend it!

Easy install, very easy to set up app and works well
I actually bought this for a special reason. I am getting my roof replaced soon, and wanted to install this in my attic and check the temps over a period of time while my asphalt shingles are on the roof, and then afterwards with my new metal roof installed. This device will be a great tool to see just how much lower the attic temps will be with the metal as the asphalt shingles will absorb heat where the metal roof will reflect the heat. I am also getting metal that is very light in color and has the best heat reflection ability so it will be a very nice and accurate comparison. Now, since I have that explained lets talk about the device. I put the 2 AAA batteries in the wifi reading digital display device, plugged in the probe and then mounted and plugged in the hard wired device in my living room. I installed the app on my cell phone and it walked my through the install perfectly fine without issue. I installed the remote reading device and probe in my attic above my garage, and as high as possible at top pitch of the roof. So far it works perfectly, checking temps at a default 15 minute interval and all is well. Eventually after my testing of my attic temps are through, I will mount remote device in home and run probe around door to outside to monitor outside temps and humidity. The humidity feature is also an interesting thing for the attic test also. We all know that have been in to an attic on any hot day just how freaking hot is is up there. I have had the readings go up to 121 degrees on a 75 degree sunny day so far. I don't know if it will reach 140 or not, but I could not find one anywhere that would read higher than that. I have no clue if anyone else would ever want to test their attic temps for whatever reason, but this device works well, and will read inside temps on remote digital device and outside temps on probe, but it does have to be wire connected to the inside temp reading digital readout device. I read about complaints about the app not working correctly and other issues, but I did NOT have any problem whatsoever. The app has chart and table temperature readouts. Pretty cool!

Good Inexpensive system
Rather impressed for the price. Its a standard issue La Crosse branded product, instructions were easy, setup took less than 15 minutes, no issues. Gives you Temp/Humidity AND Probe Temp. Reports are nice, one text and one email notification works well and arrives in a timely manner. can easily adjust highs/lows in the email. I use the wet probe attached to the outside of my Hot Tub heating tube. Works great for the cabin too. Would recommend and buy again. Don't forget you need the hub and a low priced notification subscription will be required after the trial.

Works great and reliably SO FAR
I just got mine 2 weeks ago. Set up is a straight forward task if you watch the online video. I only need hourly report so far it is reporting without a glitch. I only hope it will last as many have had problems with reliability. It works as advertised. I will update this after a few months of usage.

Great product
Setup wasn't possible with the app, but it worked beautifully through the website. This is exactly what I was looking for, simply a way to monitor temperature remotely. My only complaints are that it's almost impossible to find separate sensors to purchase in Canada. Seems a waste to buy a new gateway each time you want to add a sensor. And there's no way to change the display on the sensor itself to Celsius. It can easily be changed online, so your alerts and everything through the gateway can be in Celsius, but it would be nice if the display on the unit could also be adjusted.Small matters. Otherwise it's perfect for my needs.

Works well, if you never have a power outage.
Bought the product to remotely monitor the temperature of our hot tub during winter months.Product installs and connects well, and immediately sends temperature readings and alerts as configured.EXCEPT after a power outage.Device does not reconnect to their back end. No temperature alerts received. Gateway is connected to the sensor, but not the gateway to the back-end network. Must manually power cycle the gateway to re-establish connectivity to their back end. This solution does not work for REMOTE temperature monitoring.I wasn't looking for a *local* temperature monitor - i can do that easily enough.Does not solve my remote need, reliably.
