This a really nice item that can easily be fitted with security countersunk 4mm Allen headed machine screws etc or other countersunk screws. It was easy to fit and is strong. The appearance of the stainless steel is smart. It's certainly head and shoulders better than most shed locks I've fitted in the past and will keep it's appearance.

Much thinner metal than I was hoping for and so would not recommend this item.

I bought two of these as I needed something that was narrow enough to fit a gate post and the solid frame of the gate. It was only when I tried to fit them did I realise that my elderly gate and post are not at all flat but somewhat warped and twisted by years of being outside. Result, nightmare! These bolts are very unforgiving if not being fitted on a totally flat area and I only managed to fit them by using washers and wood spacers to overcome the twists and warping. Other than that, they seem quite well made. The screws however are very small so I changed them to something longer.
