Q: Can pure acetone go in this bottle or will it eat thru?

I just purchased this myself and its holding up great. Just try not to get any on the bottle itself.

Hi, this is about 5" inches tall as there is a dimension picture on the second picture of this listing. This listing is for a 7oz Size, as we also have 10oz Size which is little bit taller.

Q: I put nail polish remover in mine. A bit ran down the outside of the bottle & caused white streaks and roughness on the plastic. Is this normal?

Nail polish remover is not alcohol. Nail polish remover is, generally speaking, acetone based I believe. These are very different solvents and I'm not surprised at all that it attacked the plastic. I am pretty sure there is a similar dispenser labeled acetone that is most likely made from a different plastic.

Q: Will this work for pushing it down with a q tip?

It’s extremely flimsy and didn’t last, mine already broke.
