Good product.
I used these in a frog vivarium and it worked great. Good size for small plants.

Totally normal, totally fine (using for lettuce in Kratky buckets).
These are ordinary net cups and work just fine. I'm growing a ton of lettuce of several varieties in 5-gallon Kratky buckets using four of these cups per bucket. The seeds are started in cotton balls, then the seedling and its cotton ball are wrapped in another, unraveled cotton ball, and slipped into this cup. Plenty of salads for the last several weeks and surely for years to come!

Good for seating small plants. Good Buy
I use these to pot my chili plants and it worked excellent. These 2-inch Garden Slotted Mesh Net Cups are absolutely perfect for my chili plants. They’re sturdy, heavy-duty, and hold each plant securely, even as my chilies grow larger and produce more fruit. The slotted design provides excellent drainage and airflow, which has helped my chili roots develop strong, healthy systems, and I’ve noticed a big difference in overall plant growth and productivity. Transplanting seedlings into these cups is effortless, and my plants have adapted quickly without any stress or damage. My chilies are thriving, producing more peppers than ever before, and the cups keep everything organized and easy to manage in my garden. With a pack of 100, it’s an incredible value, and I can keep all my chili plants growing at their best. I highly recommend these cups to anyone serious about growing chilis or other garden plants. Five stars!

Good hydroponic cups with minor edge issues
These 3-inch net cups work well for my hydroponic system. The slotted design provides good drainage and root support. They're sturdy and hold plants securely. The pack of 25 is a good quantity. However, some cups had rough edges that needed trimming. Overall, decent quality for the price.

Very light, but sturdy enough - good for emersed/over-aquarium plants
I have a 29gal fish tank that I'm also using as a sort of riparium/hydroponics/aerogarden thing. Basically I am growing houseplants, herbs and, believe it or not, strawberries out the top of it. I got a large sheet of clear 1/8" polycarbonate, cut it the width of my tank's rim, and cut it the other direction a couple inches wider than these cups, and cut 3 holes in a row using a 2 inch hole saw. 2 inches is slightly wider of a hole than is ideal for these mesh cups, but it's still smaller than the diameter at their lip so they won't fall through. The bottom of these cups sits in the water about a quarter to half an inch when the tank is as full as I like it to be, so roots for plants can easily grow down into the water and there's a little wiggle room for changing water levels from evaporation/between top-offs. This setup allows me to have more plants on the tank than just planting stuff in those big ugly baskets that hang on the side, since the plants can grow in the middle of the tank. It's a lot more attractive than those big baskets, since it sits more flush with the water and doesn't have a hook hanging off the side. It also will reduce evaporation vs the tank being totally open to the air, although once the plants get growing, that difference will shrink. I'll reserve the big baskets for larger plants with bulkier root systems. Okay, so my review of these physical baskets is that they are nothing special, but a it's quite a good price for how many you get, and they got to me in a day as they are on prime. They are a good size, since a 2 inch hole saw works for making a frame for them. They are very light weight and fairly flexible, the slots are small enough to hold many types of substrate but big enough for roots to grow through. They are a good height for putting on top of a tank. Their rim/lip is flat, so they sit flush inside the holes on my frame and do not stick out at all really. I'd prefer they be clear or white, but black is fine.

Fits 2 inch holes cut at home
I bought other cups that were 2 inch and fell through the hole I cut at home with 2 inch hole saw bit. These cups fit in the hole nicely without falling through. I got 50 for $8.99. My hydro box is complete.
