Wiley's Sweet Potato & Yam Spice - 6 (SIX) Packets

I really looked out many years ago when I first found these yam seasonings, it does a miracle for sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, my local store stopped carrying this for years. I was glad to find these on Amazon. I gotta tell you I have. I recommend this. You must try it. I swear you will probably fall in love with it. Theres enough per packet for a couple of big sweet potatoes or a couple of packets for the most magical sweet potato casserole you’ve ever put in your mouth. THIS. IS. FANTASTIC

Making southern styled candied yams used to be more time consuming. For years now, I've used his spice and it makes the best candied sweet potatoes. Whenever I bring this to a holiday dinner, everyone asks me for the recipe. I have given packets of this spice to several friends, The hardest part now of making this dish is peeling and cutting the sweet potatoes into the right size.

I had ordered the Eat Your Yams to prepare for Thanksgiving. Everyone was impressed on how good the yams were and so was I.

I love the seasoning very good taste! However, I did not really care for the directions of cooking them raw in a frying pan on top of the stove the sugar seem to get a little Browner and stick to my pan. So because I had bought so many envelopes and love yams I boiled them and I put them in a layered pan and sprinkled the mixture. I mixed everything together and put it on top and they were delicious. I don’t like peeling sweet potatoes. The skin is very hard to peel.
