This works pretty good, but not perfect. I lost vision in one eye, and cannot read small print anymore. I need this for work, and it’s helpful. Positioning the page underneath takes a little finagling to be able to see it well. I can’t imagine how this would work for a book in my lap, but I haven’t tried it for that.

The unit is a good value for a plastic product. I like that it had 12 LED lights with 2 brightness levels. It can be powered by a USB cable or regular batteries making it versatile for those needing extra magnification.

I am 65 yrs old and have difficulty reading small print. This makes it so much easier and not just because it magnifies the written word. It's like watching a wide screen TV in that it covers more than small magnifying glass does so you don't need to move it around. Add to that are the led lights. I can now read all of my paperbacks that I have never felt comfortable reading before. The price is also an added plus.

My husband really loves this product for his daily book reading. The one drawback is that he has to turn off the overhead light or it creates a glare.

It is mostly blurry around the edges, with only the center being really clear.

Magnifier is just OK. Some distortion. USB cable gets very hot while using, so could be a hazard. I'm using batteries instead. The magnifier stand is flimsy, so care is needed to open stand legs.

Love the sheerness of this magnifier. It's lightweight and has lights, very easy to use.

Perfect for my mom to do her paint by numbers. We had to raise it up a bit but she loves it.
