This 8,000maH battery stopped working and would not take a charge after only 2 months of very limited use. It was purchased and installed on my old Dyson in late Dec. 2025. This is the second battery I purchased from POWTREE. The first battery was a 6,000maH and it lasted 2 years.I immediately contacted the seller through Amazon regarding their 1-year limited warranty on this battery. POWTREE was very responsive. After submitting pictures of the defective battery, they sent me a free replacement under warranty. I am hopeful this new replacement battery will last longer.

This battery is not very high quality. Lasted 6 months in my DC35. Find another brand ic you are shopping.

My first try at ordering a replacement for my "Dyson - V6 Total Clean Bagless Cordless Hand Vac - Blue/nickel" (originally purchased February 2017) was through Walmart but it was way off and did not fit. Decided to try this particular one before spending $95.99 through Dyson (I was even told by the Dyson rep their replacement batteries are the only compatible ones and then he was even trying to entice me to buy a new vacuum!!!). This battery saved me from buying a new vacuum - it fit perfectly and did the job as I had hoped. My old one was losing power and would not stay on for more than 3 seconds. With this battery replacement, my Dyson is working like it's brand new. I totally recommend this!!!

The battery life is great. I bought 3 of these because I don’t like to wait for the battery to charge so it’s so much better to have couple of them charged.

I purchased this battery for my Dyson DC handheld vacuum cleaner on March 29, 2026. Two weeks ago, it stopped charging. It only lasted about 6 months.It has a 365-day limited warranty offering a free replacement for one year. Which is a great warranty. However, when I contacted the seller, they say to contact Amazon. Amazon said to select "Return or Replace item" beside the item. After the 1-month window there is no way to click on return or replace item. Therefore, the 365-day warranty means absolutely nothing.I am unable to use my vacuum!Why do you promise a replacement if there is no way to contact anyone?

DC31 Type A 4000mAh, worked well for just under 3 years. Used mostly for cleaning out vehicles. Time to get a new one.

Works on my original cordless Dyson! We wanted to keep our original cordless Dyson (18 yrs old) for around the kitty litter box; we ordered a new battery and it works again! Nice to have the convenience! So worth it!

You get what you pay for. Price is reasonable, worked great when it worked. I only used my vacuum 10 times at the most, the battery will no longer hold charge and it stopped working. Of course it failed 2 weeks after the return window closed. It’s only lasted 6 weeks. Hopefully others have better luck.

Thank goodness I found this. I was gonna have to throw my handheld Dyson away. This worked perfectly charged wonderfully and it holds the charge for a long time.

My boyfriend spotted a used Dyson at a donation box, and we decided to bring it home. It was in great condition and came with all parts, but the Dyson would shut off after 1 minute of using it. We figured that was why someone decided to get rid of it. So we figured it was just the battery and decided to order this one off Amazon. Was delivered much earlier than expected and now we have a perfectly good Dyson, and all we had to do was buy a new battery. Amazing product! Definitely recommend if your Dyson dies out.

It was not described correctly. There were multiple options under the posted option. It would not fit my Dyson because of the missing info. Having issues getting my money back.
