With the cold winter and the pandemic I've been staying inside and baking more, however, I quickly discovered that my regular balloon/French whisks were not only a pain to clean but they were flimsy and one even got dented when trying to mix. So I ordered this Danish whisk and it is incredible! I cannot recommend it enough! I saw someone using this online and originally bought it simply because they said it was much easier to clean and pretty cheap (in price not quality).The only baked good I see this whisk not working well for is maybe meringue or whipping egg whites to a peak as I think it's better for combining than aerating. Other than that, this is the best whisk ever! Since ordering and cleaning it this is the only whisk I've used. Easy to clean? Check! Durable? Double check, seriously it's insanely durable and thick! Easy to hold and lightweight? Check!Pros: durable (the metal parts are probably almost 1/4" thick), easy to clean, versatile (use for thin or thick batters) and cuts through dough or batter like nothing else. Used this to make pancakes the other day and it took half the time to mix as it did with my old whisks. Used it to make cookies and it withstood the heavy batter with ease (the same recipe snapped one of my rubber spatula's wooden handles).Cons: since the handle is wooden you can't wash this in dish washer (but as most people wash their whisks by hand anyways to preserve the shape this isn't a big concern in my book).Overall, I cannot recommend this whisk enough and the dough scraper it comes with is helpful for most doughs or batters as well (and cleanup if you spill any flour or other powders)!

Until a few weeks ago, I didn't know that such a thing as a Danish dough whisk even existed. Now it is one of my favorite kitchen pieces. It came with a lame for scoring my sourdough loaves, and the lame's long handle and sharp blades are far superior to the lame I purchased here when I starting making sourdough bread a couple of years ago. The bread whisk is very sturdy and well-made, something you need if you're going to stir sticky sourdough. Washing it off my wooden spoons or my fingers was a chore, messy, and left lots of the dough behind. I have an extremely small kitchen, so I have no space for a stand mixer or other fancy device. This works great not only for bread, but for cookies, too.

This thing truly is THE BOMB. I actually started whisking a cake mix, which was trapped in the 'cage' of the whisk, and pulled this out instead. Stirred through like. a. dream. It's really sturdy, good weight and feel in the hand and just one of those things that make my life easier--which is always a win. Esp for $8. Do it. You won't be sorry.

I used this to mix chocolate, peanut butter and honey melted from the microwave and whoa! It is so strong, sturdy and because of it's rounded design, it grabs the mixture from the bottom of the bowl, very important when mixing. The additional scrapper has 2 sides to use in a bowl for dough, and a flat edge to cut dough or score bread. I like using it after chopping up onions or garlic off my cutting board! I bought one for my Sister so she has a set!

The whisk was missing from package which as the part I wanted, do not want or need the pictured I wanted and need the missing whisk!!! Terrible!! NOT HAPPY

So I wasn't so sure about all the hype I'd been hearing about the Danish whisk, but it been insisted upon that I try one. So I bought it and made cookies. This is SO much easier than a regular whisk to make chocolate chip cookies and the clean up was a breeze.

This comprehensive, yet inexpensive, set is perfect for the home bread baker. The tools provide everything needed for stirring, mixing, scoring, and basting the perfect loaf of bread. Although the low cost of the set might give the impression that it's not a good sturdy set of baking tools, it's a GREAT set.

I wanted a dough whisk and, of course, searched amazon. This was the best set I saw. Besides the whisk being unbelievably sturdy, the other pieces were very useful - not just "add-ins" . I highly recommend this whisk. I've used it for brownie batter, pancake batter and bread dough - it held up perfectly.
