Brilliant product does a sound job.
I really like this product. I use my voice professionally, and while working from home I've been trying various microphones and using old blankets as acoustic shielding. Rubbish! But no more! I've got the tonor microphone isolation shield teamed up with an old AKG microphone and it works like a blinder. The shield itself feels solid and professionally built. The acoustic foam certainly prevents echo and if you tweak your sound inputs you can get it just the way you like it. Obviously if you try to set up in a bathroom it's going to still sound boxy. But mine is tucked away in the corner of a living room, plenty of soft surfaces to absorb sound. But here's the thing about this shield. It is not too heavy. In fact, I have it mounted on a good strong scissor arm stand which is clamped to my (admittedly quite heavy) bookshelf. It works a treat, I simply rotate the arm into a semi-fold position, close the screen a little (it folds inward, around the mic) and there you are . I should also add that it is not difficult to assemble, there's a bracket and various screw threads to help you, honestly it took me 10 minutes to put together on my scissor arm. Sound quality? I have a *very* good set of headphones and have listened to playback and while it's obviously not as completely 'dead' as it would be in a proper studio, it is certainly good enough for most broadcast/voice over purposes. Practice a bit of mic technique, and don't get your mouth too far away or your voice will "throw" all over the place. Team it up with a good pop screen, too. Thoroughly recommended. I'm a happy bunny. Please note: I am not connected to the seller in any way, nor has the seller asked me to review this item, or offered me any inducement to do so. I paid full price for this item.

Instructions are dreadful!
Does what it's meant to do once set up, but the assembly instructions are dreadful and nonsensical. Unless you have some knowledge about how to set these up (I don't), you could have a long afternoon ahead of you.

Well priced, sturdy and compact.
Screen came quickly and was packed nicely. It came with all the fixings that I needed to be able to use it on a stand, but I've found that I can just open the shield and use it directly on my desk behind my Blue Yeti and that's exactly what I wanted it for. When I'm not using it quickly folds up and stores away. It appears to be built well and is nice a sturdy. It does exactly what I bought it for, reducing some if the room reflections coming from behind my microphone.

Really does work!
For something so small and compact, I expected it to be a little less robust but the lock nuts and bar are very strong. It’s well built, doesn’t feel cheap at all. We did a quick test recording in the kitchen where we have been recording since lockdown and you could hear the pings from other metal around the mic but that has softened a LOT! Feels very professional now and we’re happier about the smaller size since our last reflection shield was HUGE. Thank you for such a quick delivery too! Would highly recommend!

Works well but has a design flaw
I used this with a new Rode condensor mic and it worked really well. I could definitely tell the difference in the sound quality despite its small size and initially l was very happy with it. However, it was difficult to fix to my mic stand, simply because it was missing a large washer. And then one day, without warning, the shield fell off the bracket, without me even knocking it. On close inspection, the only thing connecting the shield to the bracket was a small rivet, which had pulled through the hole. I could have drilled the rivet out and replaced it with a nut and bolt and it probably would have been fine, but l decided to send it back for a refund.

Great for the price
For the price it works as expected. It fits on my boom arm and big enough for my needs. If you are a beginner and looking for a quick sound shield this is a good option. Installation instructions were also clear and easy to follow. Build quality looks good, it's mostly metal and foam.

Improves your audio recordings
Its amazing how something so small and simple can improve your recordings. I was looking for a way to limit the reverb of my voice when I do home recordings and this just does the trick. It takes you just a minute to mount on your mic stand - its that easy and quick. A bit smaller than expected but it covers an area that is large enough to do its job.It feels really sturdy and well built.Im happy with this purchase

Works As Advertised
This is a nice little unit from Tonor that blocks sound reflections from the equipment rack, monitor, and wall directly behind it. However, it is not designed to block reflections from elsewhere in the studio, nor does it — so I am adding acoustical foam on those spots. Be advised that there are some issues with the mounting hardware: 1) The screw adapter shown at the red arrow in photo 1 was not listed as a part online or in the accompanying instructions. Fortunately it was included because it is required to mount the acoustic baffle onto the 5/8" male thread on my mike boom. 2) Unfortunately, however, the capped black cylinder that suspends the mike terminates in a 3/8" male thread instead of a 5/8" male thread necessary to screw into the 5/8" female Audio Technica mike suspension mount. This required me to spend a few bucks on a chrome 3/8" female to 5/8" male adapter (shown at the green arrows in both photos). It's a minor quibble, but I advise potential buyers to check the thread size on their mike stands to see if it compatible with the included hardware. I was surprised because a 5/8" thread is standard with microphone mounts — at least in the USA. Perhaps this item was intended to be used with the Tonor mike shown in the ads. It would be nice if the online ad gives the thread specifications. Still, I recommend this mike baffle, even if you need to buy the extra adapter to make it work for you. Some reviews here suggest contacting Tonor about this or any other issue.

Excelente producto
La construcción es de gran calidad. No entro a valorar aspectos técnicos dado que el uso que le doy dista mucho del uso para el que fue diseñado.
