I was desperate to find a way for my baby to sleep anywhere but my arms or in my lap. I’d been holding her for what felt like 2 months straight. I stumbled across this pillow and thought, “no freakin’ way. Also, who in their right mind would pay THAT much for a pillow?!” Me, that’s who. I got it thinking I’d return it. You’re going to have to pry it from my cold dead hands! My baby sleeps somewhere other than my arms for HOURS at a time. Not always, mind you, she has to be sleepy or else she pops right back up. I mean, that’s just babies, amiright? Anyway, if you’re wondering whether to mortgage your home to buy this pillow, I’d recommend it. The other five star reviews aren’t wrong. The SnuggleMe is perfect for daytime naps! My 2 month old started fighting daytime sleep and became a chronic cap napper. With this lounger, he sleeps for 1-2 hour naps! I’m hesitant to try to use it at night/unsupervised since the product itself says not to.

I LOVE this pillow. It is everything I thought the Halo Bassinest would be: a safe way to cosleep that would allow me easy access to my baby and be comfortable for her. The Halo fell short of all of my expectations, but this pillow exceeded them. As with other reviewers, my only regret is that I did not buy it earlier.LOVES:1. CUSTOMER SERVICE.I found this pillow while desperately searching the internet for an infant sleep solution as I rocked my baby in the middle of the night. My baby would only sleep in my arms, and after nearly 10 weeks of sleepless nights, I felt like there had to be something better out there. Not only that, but we were going on a trip the following week, and I knew that there was no chance that my baby would sleep in a hotel crib. The next morning, I texted the owner--yes, texted the owner (how is that for customer service?!; I found their number with an invitation to text on their website) with some questions, and she responded immediately. For that kind of service alone, I wanted to support her business and try her product. I explained to her that I needed it in the next 6 days, and she shipped it that day.2. LOOK AND FEELWhen the pillow arrived, I was understandably more excited than my baby. It was so soft and cozy that I loved it immediately. It is also very wells-made; whatever material the filling is, it is firm but yielding. When I put my baby in it, I could easily see what the other reviewers meant when they said that they felt that there was no way their baby could suffocate in it. My baby could turn her head to the side so that she could sleep comfortably, but the design makes it so that she cannot press her face into the wall of the pillow; this is difficult to describe, but there is always a gap there. I'm obsessed with minimizing the risk of SIDS, so this was very important to me.3. SAFETYBecause my baby cannot press her face against the side of the pillow, my mind is at ease about suffocation in the pillow. I use the pillow in my bed for cosleeping. Since the day I brought my daughter home, she and I have both wanted to cosleep, but, again, I'm very afraid of SIDS and the risks of suffocation presented by bedsharing. However, I feel very comfortable cosleeping with my baby in the pillow in my bed. When I lay down next to her, I feel like it is impossible for me to roll over on her, because of the firm sides of the pillow but also because of its slight elevation. (Of course, that being said, it is still a pillow and doesn't have a wall, so I do not let my husband sleep next to the baby, even in the pillow.) I LOVE having my baby next to me throughout the night, and I also love being able to sleep in a comfortable position myself without worrying about whether my body is concaving the mattress around me, burying her face.4. PORTABILITYAs I mentioned above, part of the reason I bought this was so that I could travel with it. I like the idea of my baby having her same, familiar bed anywhere we go. I've traveled with this twice now and am planning a third time next month.All that is to say that this is an amazing product and well worth the cost; and by purchasing, you are supporting a small business that truly cares about what it does. I will not say that this is a miracle pillow because it did not perform the miracle of putting my child to sleep without me, but no company can do that for my kid. (She not only must be held while sleeping, but she must be held only by me--I've come to find this to be the sweet truth. There is no way that any product can replicate the feeling of mother, so I do not hold that against the Snuggle Me!) Even though my baby still wants to sleep on me or with her entire body touching mine, this pillow was worth every penny. She sleeps in it every night, and though she does wake up looking for me, when that happens I am lying beside her and can easily lift her out (something I could not do from bed with the Halo). It is more cozy and comfortable than her crib as well. Really, there is nothing not to love. (Well, I do wish it was a bit longer, because I like her head to lay in the flat part, and her butt is already almost to the end.)

My daughter loves this pillow for her newborn son. It fits perfectly in his cradle and snuggles him as if being held in his mommy’s arms. She can easily take it with him when coming to our house for a visit. It is washable and will be useable as he grows. It is a bit of an investment, but it is easy to move and use on a daily, consistent basis. Our grandson loves it and is comfortable and secure in it.

My newborn was so in love with this!! She would sleep hours on hours in this thing!! It was honestly a really nice pillow since I wasn’t so worried about her rolling over or falling since it didn’t support her in all the right angle. Although I don’t recommend leaving them unattended at all. Beautiful products, I would recommend to family and friends.. even strangers!!!

My baby loves it. She feels secure and happy in the snuggle me. It has save me a lot of times.

UPDATE:I love this thing. My 4 month old daughter sleeps in this in the arms reach cosleeper next to me. We have used this when we travel and baby sleeps well because she’s familiar with it. Plus we don’t have to lug a huge sleeper with us. I plan to transition her when she starts to roll, but it has been a great investment so far.Before purchasing, I feel like I only saw 5 star reviews because it was a miracle product or 1-2 star reviews because their baby did not take to the product. I ended up purchasing because at the 4 week mark, my daughter started craving bed sharing over her bassinet. I breastfeed at night and I think she became more comfortable laying in bed. She sleeps fabulously in bed, but my husband and I were too nervous to have her in bed without some type of buffer. I looked into other cosleepers (DockaTot), but passed on them because they are more so just a buffer rather than a hugger and my daughter craves snuggles. If your baby is more independent they may not like this because it does lean in and his their sides. I'd honestly give this product a 4.5 because it is versatile and really great quality. More detailed feedback below.Initial reaction: Wonderful quality and feel to the product. I was hoping my daughter was going to like it because it's so nice that I didn't want to return it. It also came with a plastic case that can be used for traveling so it doesn't get dirty. You could place any king size pillow case on the pillow so I wouldn't purchase extra covers.Upon using: There wasn't a magical moment where I put my daughter down in this and sleep was solved. I have this pillow in between my husband and I and what I found to work is swaddling baby and making sure she's sleepy before putting her down. This did help her sleep longer than normal, but she still needed help falling asleep. We feel very safe and comfortable bed sharing with her in this. The pillow cover also loves to attract hair. We have 2 dogs so within a day it had attracted some. To avoid this you could use a silk pillowcase.Other great uses: monthly newborn photos; it holds them great and can show their growth as they start growing out of the pillow. We also plan to use this for travel rather than lugging around a pack n play. Pro-tip: if you are flying with a car seat, you can place this pillow in the car seat bag and check it for free.
