Fabulous leash! My 5 Month rescue dog was a bit of a puller on walks with a harness. Bought this leash and on first walk with it he was a perfect loose leash walker! Was amazing, he was very comfortable and happy. Watch the video to ensure proper placement, not hard at all just follow the directions. At first, I had the loop that goes over the head a little too small. Easy on and off, my pup stands there perfectly while we put it on. Does not put pressure on neck at all. Highly recommend. LOVE it!

Being a dog trainer, I've had the opportunity to use just about every type of 'no pull' device on the market. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this harness/leash!! Very simple design. Easy to put on & take off. (Once you have had 'hands on' & understand how it works.) Nice & FLEXIBLE. (Moves with your dog). Very SOFT SURFACE that does NOT RUB, WEAR HAIR OFF, cause SORES & CHAFING. If you follow the directions & have this properly fitted, it's SUPERB!! I was not very sure how well this harness would work. Very skeptical about whether it would stay in place & not slip off the chest/rib cage. Decided to try it because of the many, really positive reviews (VERIFIED PURCHASES!) I wasn't disappointed!! When fitted properly on your dog, it's AWESOME! It's important to know that this doesn't fit around the neck like a collar. Adjusting the black stops so that it's seated farther down from the neck, more on the shoulder/chest area & it truly does work like a charm!! I just got a 5 mo. old Black & Tan Coon Hound mix about 2 weeks ago. He has not learned any 'leash etiquette' yet! Being a 'hound', he loves to follow his nose. When dogs get into a behavior that's been bred into & hardwired in their brains for YEARS, they go into 'limbic' mode. They get SO INTO that behavior, that they truly do not hear or see anything else. They leave the 'thinking/learning' part of their brain behind. My puppy is 5 months old & he's been following his nose all that time. I needed something to get his attention. Most harnesses just don't do that. Especially the type of harness that attaches the leash to the front of the chest. All that does is pull them off balance for a minute & then they pull harder! Those types of harnesses work very well for some dogs, but not all. It's really hard to get the attention of a dog thats SO INTO their instinctual behaviors!! This harness works BEAUTIFULLY for that!! As soon as I received this from Amazon, I put it on my boy & we went for a walk. He's not always constantly pulling. He does quite well for not having any leash training. But as soon as we go by a scent that catches his attention, them he pulls, HARD! It's REALLY HARD to get his attention back on me & the walk. The pressure from the harness GOT HIS ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY! I was quite suprised that this worked SO QUICKLY & SO WELL! It's not a CURE for pulling, but it DOES get their attention, REALLY WELL! It makes it so much easier to TRAIN them when you can get their attention!! One important thing to keep in mind, you should never expect perfection from your dog or puppy. Dog breeds have been bred for specific purposes for HUNDREDS of YEARS!! Each dog is different. Two pups from the same litter can have completely different levels of instinctual behavior. One might have a very high 'drive', while the other may not have much at all. It's SO VERY IMPORTANT for dogs to experience those things. I have a hound breed that LOVES to follow his nose. I'm teaching him that it's not appropriate for him to do that when he's 'on leash'...but I make sure that he has plenty of 'off leash' time. A dog that gets enough exercise & time to practice those natural instincts, is going to be a much, much more content. A content, happy dog is much easier to train & is much more apt to want to please you. That deepens you & your dogs relationship & makes for a happy home!!

BEST DOG LEASH EVER! I HAVE 2 I won’t use anything else. It is comfortable and easy on the dog, it’s very very secure, no goofy metal pieces to break. Definitely on the expensive side but you will have it for years and years. A must have. ( I didn’t buy it for pulling or any behavior issues-I bought it for it’s safety and security)

This is a really well made leash and once you get the hang of it it's really easy to get on your dog. Mine has no hesitation about having something pulled over her head. The leash is much longer than I would like as you have to hold a lot of excess in your hands if you are trying to keep your dog next to you. Our dog was on limited play time due to back pain so the vet encouraged lots of walks and allow her to sniff everything so she is working her brain. It works well for allowing her that movement. It does not in any way, shape or form discourage her from pulling. She is a corgi. She has her own ideas of who is supposed to lead then randomly goes into herding mode so she is constantly circling me. The excess leash means I am constantly handling a lot of rope. The rope is cushioned and does feel good in your hands and there is plenty of room to wrap poop bags around the handle. There has been zero fraying which I cannot say about some other brands who make the claim.

Myself and the dog love this. Such an easy product to use and I know she isn’t getting loose or a clasp or closer is never going to break. It helps wit it being it own harness. Very durable as have used mutiple times a day for over a year. Not much fraying or fuzziness of the material at all where it slides through the loops to create the harness. Such a great toddy that’s is so useful. I got another in another color I love it so much. Friends have gotten this also. My dog does also grab it to hold in her mouth when very excited and there been now chew marks or fraying. Fit is great and love how it looks. Worth the money and then some.

I rarely write product reviews, but I wanted people to know how effective this leash is. I volunteer at an animal shelter and regularly walk large dogs. After struggling with some dogs that had little to no leash training, I noticed several volunteers using these leashes as harnesses and decided to give one a try. This leash has been a game changer. It allows me to safely walk dogs ranging from 30 to 100 pounds, often without any additional help. It’s easy to put on, and it significantly reduces pulling in most strong pullers. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I love it so much that I bought a second one so I’d always have a backup when the other was being washed. After more than three years of regular use, both leashes have held up extremely well. This is one of the best dog-handling tools I’ve ever used.

I have a labradoodle puppy who has grown to be three times the size he was when I bought this. It still works really well. It's nice and thick, but very light and easy for both of us to use. (I need to get a long lead of this material!) It goes on and off fast, and does restrain him pretty well. The only two small downsides are: (1) it will tighten and stay tight if you have to pull too much (this can be mitigated by stopping and easing it a bit after some epic struggle like a bunny shooting by); and (2) when the doodle's doo is too long, I have to be careful not to catch his fur between the rubber slide stopper and the rope (he has lost a few tufts to this). I think it would fit any size dog and because it's so light and so quick and easy to put on and take off, it's a very useful to take along. He chewed it once when we first got it, but it barely frayed it and did not do any structural damage. Excellent product (and the colors are so nice). Update 4/1/25: So many people ask me about this combo leash/harness. A client just stopped by my office because she had looked in every pet store and couldn't find anything like this. I sent her the link and thought I'd do an update. It's been almost two years I've had this leash and other than the small chew from when he was a pup, it still looks like new. It's simple to use and the material is soft and thick, but also lightweight. I have a huge collection of harnesses at this point and this one is one of the two I use. The other is a Blue-9 which I use when I want to be able to disconnect the leash but leave the harness on. However, if we find ourselves in a field or another opportunity to go off leash and we're using this combo harness, I just wrap it loosely around a second time and tuck the end through the loop again and off he goes. This also works for when you want a short leash in tricky situations. Oh yes, it also doesn't seem to stink like collars and harnesses! Can't imagine why not, but we live in the country and I have never washed this thing. I will post a photo. Still recommended!

This is a great harness, especially for dogs who pull a lot. Simple to use. My dog had to get used to the feel, but its didn't take long.

This leash/harness is a game-changer! I have a husky and pulling is natural for her. While she doesn’t particularly like having this put on, the walking experience is SO much better for both of us. While she still is in front of me for the first part of our walk, after the excitement lowers, I even have a relaxed leash. I can tell she knows/feels the difference and I have much better control of her. So much easier on my body. A full 5 stars for this item.

This harness is working really well with our 1yr mixed breed 80 lb dog. Stops pulling almost instantly. Doesn't take long to learn how to put it on and take off easily. I highly recommend this harness.

This harness is just amazing. Having had a really scary experience when my dog escaped a harness on a busy road, this is the only one I feel comfortable that my dog won’t be able to back out of.
