Nintendo 3DS XL - Red/Black (Renewed)

Works great. Buttons are slightly used and showing some wear but still functional .

Came in really good condition, hardly any wear and tear. The model I received is the LL (Japanese version) but I was able to run my 3DS games on it, and before this I had an American 3DS so this one has likely had region lock removed. The pen was present (It is on the bottom right side of the 3DS XL) and the charger was fully functional.

I wouldn't take the gamble honestly. I bought my in renewed excellent and had issues. The circle pad was crunchy and stopped working after about 5 days, with light use too. The front facing camera was completely fried and all you saw was pink. The game slot was sticky and made this weird squish noise, upon looking in something was definitely spilled in there. Yes the outside looked nice but I can only imagine what the inside looked like. If you are considering getting a 3ds, purchase from somewhere you can actually see the product before you buy. My item was sent back and refunded.

The hinge, which is the weak point on these models, is in great shape. I can play my games, although the game slot seems to think it's empty sometimes when it isn't. It's all good. If that's the worst thing that happens, I'll be most pleased.

It works and on first inspection it looked completely new. Obviously it's not because it is refurbished, and I held off for a while before reviewing to make sure it worked well. Pros- I've had no major issues with it. Camera works, 3d works, came with a stylus and charger. I haven't tested the mic since I haven't played a game that uses it. Very minimal visible wear, I was honestly surprised by how clean it looked. Cons- The only things I've noticed with it is that the backplate on the side of the "3" sticker is a little loose, assuming it wasn't screwed down properly but it doesn't really affect anything and it's not loose enough to cause issues. There is a few very small specks on the main screen, you can't see them most of the time, but when it's all one solid color behind it, you can see it a little bit. Touch screen can be a bit finicky. Some spots you have to press hard or multiple times for it to register. It isn't a big issue for games I play on it (Mostly Pokémon) and there's only a 2 or 3 spots that it happens to and they're all close to an edge. Overall very happy with what I received and excited to be able to play early Pokémon games from the DS-3DS era just like old times

Works ok, but the touch screen is wonky towards the bottom

I bought this as a gift for one of my kids so we could play games together, and it works perfectly. No issues with the screen hinge, no issues with scratches on the screen, no issues with it reading game cards, no issues with it holding a battery charge, no issues with Wi-Fi or other communications.
