This breaker is well built at a great price. Have used it several times at work already and can't think of any improvements that need to be made. Simple to use, holds the chain segment well and pusher pin does not slide off the chain pin while turning handle. Would definitely buy from Jeremywell International Inc. again.

Very happy with this item...light weight and very sturdy. Made easy work of the chain I needed to break to repair my son's dirtbike. A really nice tool to add to the collection.... you never know when you'll need one.I learned the hard way it's easier to own one than to try to borrow one and a great deal at $13.99!

Works great - is well made and strong. I think many reviewers use this wrong and thus end up with a broken tool - I see posts complaining about it not pushing the chain pins all the way out - it's not supposed to! If you try to do that it will break the push pin on the tool. It's meant to grip one side of the chain and push a chain pin just free of one outer side plate; then move to the other pin in that link and push it free too - this will free the outer plate and allow the link (opposite side plate with 2 pins) to slide free out the other side. Easy-peasy, and it didn't take much strength at all on a #40 chain. I fumbled a bit at first trying to hold everything and get it lines up, but it got easier after a couple tries.

Seems to work well I used it a couple of times and so far seems like a worthwhile tool. We used to do the chains the hard way witb a dremel or a grinder so this is certainly nicer.

This chain breaker worked as advertised and appears to be of quality construction. Prior to purchasing this chain breaker I tried using a hammer and a punch. The hammer and punch method works but not nearly as well and tends to damage the chain. Spend the money and buy the right tool.

Bought for friend that needed to adjust bike chain. Also used to adjust electric gate opener, avoiding having to buy completely new chain.

I used this to install a 415h chain on a motorized bike and it worked great . it was easy to use and feels heavy duty. I would reccomend

This chain breaker is not designed for 25h chains as the listing states. The head is way to big to push the pin all the way through. It bends your links in the process of you having to fight the chain to stay straight even because this breaker is half the tool any mechanic wants in there box to make there job easier. Still had to get a punch and hammer out to do 99% of the work. I do not recommend buying this chain breaker or the “heavy duty” 25h chains sold buy this seller!
