Perfect replacement for Linear Garage Door Opener
The original sensors from the install 14 years ago were malfunctioning. I could not close the doors when it is light outside. The workaround was to hold the close button on the wall controller everytime I left the garage.Splicing in the new sensors was easy, but trying to figure out the polarity of the original wires took a little bit more work. The old cables didn't have '+/-' markings, instead it had some very faint writing. I traced it back to the motor to determine which was the '-' cable. Then matched it up to the cables on the new sensors which had '+/-' markings.Worked like new. No issues closing the doors and sunlight doesn't interfere with the door closure.
