Great for yoga and maternity wear! *updated
So far, I am very happy with this dress ! I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and working on my yoga teaching certification. I was trying to figure out what kind of basic items I could get that would provide enough coverage between and during asana classes, feel lightweight during practice, and maintain shape while I'm practicing and growing. I have an old bodycon style dress that I started wearing like a tunic, and I realized it was a great option...so away I went to search for more stretchy, fitted, inexpensive dresses. I was a bit skeptical, but for the price, I decided to go for this one. The amount of stretch is fantastic. The fabric is light enough for layering. I layered it over leggings, with a lightweight cardigan on top. Ruched it up around my hips, so it actually fits a bit more like a really long cami or tunic, but it looked cute and figure flattering. I took off the cardigan for asana pratice, and was pleased to see that the fabric was stretchy enough and sturdy enough to handle my pregnant belly and intense practice; it maintained its shape beautifully. I am 5'2 and currently 122 lbs, normally a size 4. It's fitted enough that it doesn't slide/flip up when I bend over, but not so tight that I'm worried it won't fit as I get bigger. I wouldn't personally wear this as a dress, just not my style (though it is adorable as a layered piece with leggings) but I think the fit is great; I could see where it might be too short to use as a dress for someone much taller than me. So far I've only washed it on a gentle cycle and hang dried it, but it held up nicely. I'm hoping that I can update this to say that it continues to hold up well. I think the color is a bit darker than the picture, but I like it and was thrilled to find something that I could use for yoga that isn't black ! I've already ordered another and will probably order a couple more in other colors too. Great, inexpensive little piece !*update. This held up great through my entire pregnancy and vigorous yoga practice. Now that I'm post partum, they're still great as an under cami for summer dresses and still for yoga practice too. I continued using a handwashing cycle on them and line drying, and after 6 months of heavy use, most (I purchased 4) look great. There is some slight piling on the best on one and some fraying at the binding where the neck and arm meet on another. Considering how much I used them and the price, I think this is great. I'm not recommending them to my prenatal yoga students as a good maternity solution that will continue to be useful even after pregnancy :)

For a slip, just what I wanted - not a dress by itself unless you're a supermodel
I bought this in white to use as a slip under another dress which is unfortunately just a bit too sheer to wear alone. For that purpose, it is great. I would not wear this as a dress by itself.Coverage:I can't vouch for other colors, but the white is semi-sheer. You can see your underwear through it, even if it's nude or white. Again, as a slip this is fine. Between white/nude underwear, this "dress" and the other dress I wear over it, there is no see-through.Fit:I'm 5'5", 140lbs, and typically wear a 4-6 dress size. The material is VERY stretchy, but I imagine there are limits as to how large of a size this will fit. This fits very snug (see the product photo), but is soft, smooth, and comfortable. It DOES ride up frequently, because it is snug, but I don't mind adjusting it as I stand up (a gentle quick tug is all I do).Note in the photo how high it comes up under the arms - for me this isn't an issue, it just ensures all of my bra is covered, but for others this might be uncomfortable. The tag is itchy and I immediately ripped it out (problem solved!).Care:The tag (that I ripped out) says machine wash cold and line-dry, which is what I do. I also put this into a delicates mesh bag to avoid any snags, since the material is somewhat thin. Just a thought.Overall:This is not a dress by itself, unless you have a body like the model in the photo. In which case, congratulations. Note what I said about white being somewhat sheer.

perfect for under tunics
I'm about an 8/10 and I buy the plus size version of these so they aren't skin tight, and I wear them under tunics or shirts that are just not quite long enough for work when I wear leggings. I love the layered look and I get compliments quite a bit. They also help the dress/tunic hang better and move better and it smooths lines.
