Favorite present
This was by far my son’s favorite birthday present! He loves sorting the items into the various bins for “recycle”, “food waste” and “trash”. The sounds are wonderful and provide an extra level of fun for backing up or stopping to add trash. The only downside was the arm to attach the trash to and dump it into the truck. This broke after about 1 day of playing and was unable to be reattached.

Just like anything, it has its shelf life, but man do little boys like this kind of thing!

My son hasn’t stopped playing
My son hasn’t stopped playing with this! He lives dump trucks and loves “dumping” the garbage. My only complaint is the attachment for the garbage is really flimsy and I’m worried it will break and a part keeps coming off which puts him into a meltdown.

This was not the same quality as the one sold at meijer
I got this thinking it was the one my son played with at meijer. It was not the same quality or the same product as well. Amazon has a way of showing items that aren’t truly matching what you searched in the search bar. Lesson learned it fell apart very easily, and it’s just flimsy and cheap.

Doesn’t work long
Batteries ran out, even without an abnormal amount of usage. Then when I changed out the batteries, it no longer made sound or lit up like it used to. Double and triple checked I had the right batteries and did it correctly, and I did. The product just…..well….sucks.

Fun and durable
My three year old granddaughter loves this toy! She played hooky from preschool to enjoy trash day with me. I gave her the truck first thing in the morning and she played with nothing else all day. She named it (Gaga), hugged, kissed, and talked to it, drove it and filled it with trash. She also dropped it 500 times, wrestled with the grabber arm (she needed help with this feature, but it didn’t interfere with her enjoyment at all), and pushed the buttons a million times. Miraculously, it is still in perfect working condition! We got to end our fabulously trashy day with a visit from the real garbage truck, along with a very appreciated honk and wave from our wonderful sanitation worker. I would definitely recommend this toy for anyone who is gaga for garbage trucks!
