New 00061J Remote Control Replace for Samsung DVD VCR Combo DVD-V9700 DVD-V9800

After my father seemed to have dropped the remote into the trash can without being noticed, the trash got dumped. This left this type of VCR/DVD player almost useless, and this was not a cheap unit. I searched everywhere I could think of to find a replacement remote. The only ones I could find were on EBAY and you had to buy a whole refurbished player system.Luckily after my diligent searches I found these. It works just like the original, from what functions I have used (no editing/transferring tape to disc feature yet). If you need one, buy it. I guess I better buy another one in case this one disappears to.

Doesn't come with instructions

..this is an exact replacement for the SAMSUNG OEM Remote provided with their Model DVD-V9800 DVD-VCR Player. Unlike Universal Remotes, it allows you to perform all set-up and audio/visual adjustments; and the one's that you cannot access from the 'buttons' on the front panel of the Player (like setting the clock & programming the 'VCR' for timed recordings!!!)

I bought this for my mother who has a Samsung DVD VCR all in one player and her remote went out this came in the mail and there was no pairing needed it just started working right away

Due to being able to get this replacement remote control, I am still able to use my trusty vcr for as long as it lasts. Without, being able to buy this new remote, the vcr would be in the garbage. It arrived in perfect condition and on time.
