A very unique scent and flavor, with cinnamon and nutmeg notes. Much milder than black pepper but very flavorful. Use whole or ground in various dishes and in pickling. I will definitely buy this one again.

The cinnamon bark chips themselves were of a good quality. I liked the size. They smelled good. They worked well with the potpourri mixes I was making. But I don’t know if it’s the packing or if it’s just something that happens at the factory, but at the bottom of the bag, there was a ton of loose powder. So I had to sift all of the cinnamon chips, so I wouldn’t have that powdery residue, floating everywhere when mixing them.

This pepper has a very nice flavor and the heat level is higher than I figured, but in a good way. I wonder if you can grow the plant from these peppercorns.

The taste was great. I tried initially to see if i could just add it to my pepper grinder, which i should have realized was never going to work. Tossed them in my spice grinder and ground them up and it's wild the flavor they add. Will continue to rebuy.

I read about Long Pepper in the fabulous book Tasting History. They do have a seeet but kicky taste. But I must say they do not grind well in a pepper grinder. Mortar and pestle works fair, or consider paying considerably more for pre-ground

It has a light peppery taste with a warm sometimes strong heat accompanied with a fresh evergreen note similar to fresh rosemary without the woody note of rosemary. Chop or grind lightly and put on a salad or grilled fish.

I just received the package. The cinnamon chips were well packaged and double bagged. The bag was marked with manufactured date of September 2023 and expiration date of October 2026. After I opened the package, the cinnamon looked just like the picture. Unfortunately, that's where the positive things about this purchase ended. I immediately noticed that there was only a faint smell of cinnamon coming from the chips. I tried making tea with it and got no scent or flavor of cinnamon from it. Next, I tried boiling it and got a little more scent but no flavor of cinnamon. If you are buying this for tea or culinary uses, you will be disappointed.
