Q: Is there a difference between this sauce and "frank's xtra hot buffalo" sauce? this one is labeled "frank's xtra hot cayenne pepper" sauce.

My son eats the frank's xtra hot and he loves it but he doesn't like the buffalo sauce. He says that it's too vinegary. Hope this helps.

Frank's RedHot Xtra Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce does not have to be refrigerated, but doing so will keep the product fresher for a longer period of time. This product has a 15 month shelf life. ~ Erica

It doesn't say so on the lable or recommend refrigeration after opening but I own a restaurant and refrigeration space is not an issue for us, so we refrigerate ours. The ingredients aren't likely to go bad but it may discolor or loose flavor if kept out in the heat for a long time. We use ours fairly quickly so that's not an issue.
