First class flavour!
Absolutely fabulous! At last I can use rosemary in the kind of quantities I want to. The flavour is first class, not at all bitter like some can be. Great smeared on meats and on roast vegetables, scattered on a barbecue, or used as an energising tea.

My personal favourite, in love with the smell, and cook all the time
I have been using natural spices, teas for years. The dried Rosemary is so so gorgeous, the smell is nice, very noticeable and not over powering. The image shown in the bag is exactly 500g, so please be aware it’s not a full bag. Strangely spices like this have a lot of excellent benefits and can be used so many different ways.In the bathroom I have been known to use Rosemary in a little dish as a centrepiece on its own. The aroma is lovely, delicate and smells like walking in the woods on a lovely day.Of course Rosemary can be made into tea. Goodness from the tea is so nice and not too strong as a herbal tea. I have a tea strainer so no bits. Sometimes add a few drops of lemon for a zing twist. My main reason apart from the tea is to use in cooking. Rosemary can be used in whatever you chose. Usually Rosemary is used with different cooked meats, casseroles. I love the smell so use it in everything.I put the loose Rosemary in a clean coffee jar with a resealable glass lid. Use a label, keeps everything fresh and air tight.Gently dried, free of additives, and Vegan. So a little useful history behind Rosemary, uses and effects...Rosemary used for promoting memoryIndigestionArthritis related joint painHair lossHowever there is no good evidence to support these claims, however I know it helps my pain, as used Rosemary for a number of years. It’s the leaf and the oil that makes medicines.Used as a spice in cookingRosemary is also used as an oil for soaps and perfumesRich source of antioxidantsAnti inflammatoryImprove blood circulationRosemary an excellent source for a gorgeous cup of tea. Has antimicrobial properties, to help with infections and wound healing...Makes interesting reading on the WWW where some of my information has come from.Lasts ages and 500g is a lot.Recommend very highly.Thank you to the seller ( Can you put directions in English and bigger print please, on the packet, just an observation)** I hope my review was helpful, kind regards”

Decent flavour, packaging not resealable
This is reasonably flavoursome dried rosemary, provided in a paper outer, foiled inner bag that had helped the herb to retain aroma and flavour, but is not a resealable holder - which is a bit of a shame considering the large quantity of the herb provided. Dried rosemary is a lot less flavoursome than when the herb is used fresh, but nevertheless this has retained a recognisable degree of rosemary's classic resinous quality. Foiled bag packaging says it's recyclable - but my local council don't accept foil (let alone mixed paper and foil) amongst their collected items, so at least where we are this is only a theoretically recyclable product that has to go into the general waste bin.

This large amount will last me ages.
I was pleased to try this 'Rosemary Dried (500g, 1.1 lb), 100% Pure and Natural for Spice Blends and Rosemary Tea'. I love herbal teas and have heard good things about rosemary tea.1. You get 500g of dried rosemary in a large paper feel bag that stands up on its own. There is a valve on the front, like you get on bags of coffee, where you can smell the lovely rosemary aroma.2. The inside of the bag has a foil appearance. After you have cut across the top you can then reseal the bag easily by pressing together along the top edge.3. I tried the recommended 2 teaspoons of rosemary, in an infuser, within a mug of boiling water and let it brew for 10 minutes. I took one sip and that was enough for me. It was very strong and almost tasted resin'y, well the fact that it comes from an evergreen plant explains that, I suppose. I started again with half a teaspoon and that was much more to my taste.4. I will also be using it in lots of cooking. Rosemary crackers sound great or in savoury scones, along with sprinkling on lamb joints and roast potatoes and in casseroles etc.5. It has been gently dried, is free of any additives, artificial flavours and colours and is vegan suitable.6. This large amount will last me ages and is good value at £11.69 in my opinion.

Dried rosemary, fragrant and full of flavour....
I got the big 500g bag of dried rosemary; it’s lovely and aromatic with a clean taste just like you would expect from high quality dried herbs. Rosemary has a really distinctive, pungent flavour that compliments flavours like garlic, sea salt and olive oil really well. I like to add it to mediterranean dishes, garlic bread, pizza, roast potatoes and sauce - but I’m looking forward to experimenting with this giant bag now; maybe have a go at making my own rosemary bread, rosemary and sea salt crackers and trying out new flavour combinations to see what else I can do.The packaging is not resealable so it’s best to transfer it over to an airtight container and fill up a spice jar as needed. The bag I received had a 9 month expiry date which is not bad but I doubt I can use up the whole bag by then; I reckon the rosemary will last much longer than the use by date though - most herbs do, so long as they're stored correctly in a dry, cool, dark environment. It's a quality product and great value for money when you consider how pricey little jars from the supermarket cost. I'd use this brand again for other herbs and spices.Country of origin: Egypt

Decent quality
This it’s a large bag of rosemary smells strongly aromatic upon opening. The bag isn’t resealable so I worry it will be had to keep such a large quality fresh as the bag has a few small opening around the bags edges.Taste is great and taste better then rinse Mary in a jar.
