Warm + Comfy = Great Sleep
Used this whilst hiking and camping the West Highland Way this year. R value is good and the mat kept me warm. The mat is very comfortable and has provided a very comfortable sleep. The mat is also robustly made and reassured me that the baffles inside won't pop like my old Thermarest X-Lite did.So far all good (I'm still walking the WHW). Inflation takes about 20-30 puffs. Can definitely recommend. At just under a kilo, it's on the heavy side for a mat, but I think the comfort, warmth and reassurance it provides is worth the grammes.

Plenty of comfort even on less than perfect ground
Used for the first time recently on a an open bivvy bad camp. Sleeping mat inserted inside the bag with 4 season OEX mummy bag. Warm & toasty all night even though their was Ice on the poles in the morning. Bag goes up easy in around 12-15 breaths and the snaplock valve is very easy to use. Doesn't rustle like the thermarest matts do which is a bonus. Well made plus includes a patch kit. Light & easy to pack away into tiny bag afterwards too. I'm a side sleeper and it was very comfortable with nothing touching the ground even though the ground was fairly uneven. It's now my goto sleeping mat, certainly while it's still cold at night.

Decent comfort at a good price and a small, light package
This bedmat packs up very small - only takes up ~ 2l of volume when rolled tight, and is easy to inflate fully (the inflation valve system takes a minute to get your head around but is pretty effective. However, it's not got as much "loft" off the ground as I'd like - Particularly if you sleep on your side you'll most definitely be touching the ground.Ideal for lightweight hiking trips or for fairly warm weather, or if used on top of another basemat. It's also pretty good value.

Comfy and Warm... A Little on the Chunky Side
Ordered this to use in my Wild Country Helm 1 (not saying the name of my tent to flex, just saying it incase you're wondering if this will fit inside a Helm 1. It will)I'll keep the review simple.COMFORT 8/10It's pretty comfortable. I slept on this for 3 nights in grassy and then twiggy forest floors and all nights I slept like a literal log. Heads up, I sleep like a log in most places but still, fair olay. The V slots down the middle give it a bitttt of an awkward feel at times if you're in a certain positions especially. I sleep on my side and occasionally felt a bit awkward with the V slots. Not enough to stop you sleeping, but enough to make you change positions.EASE OF USE 10/10You blow it up with your mouth. Takes less than 10 breaths. I have both my lungs but might take longer if you only had one. Packing away is child's play. Roll it up and stuff it in the handy bag.THERMAL QUALITIES 10/10Incredibly warm at night. So toasty. Can literally feel the warmth beneath you. I'd genuinely use this in all seasons. I reckon with a decent sleeping bag you'd stay comfy in some pretty cold temps.PACKABILITY 7/10Maybe I want my cake and to eat it too (ie I want a R value around 3 but also for it to pack small) but this was larger than I expected. Took up a fair amount of bag space. Kind of wished they could someone make it a tad smaller.VALUE FOR MONEY 10/10No questioning this one. Finding a reputable brand with a properly tested R value sleeping mat that wasn't over £150 was low key quite difficult. I'm sure the more expensive ones are great but honestly I had nothing but sweet dreams on this. No complaints in terms of value.

Purchased from Trailside - Great company to deal with. Amazing sleeping pad.
Purchased the klymit insulated static double from trailside, who were brilliant to deal with when I had a query. The klymit sleeping pad... Well what a piece of kit and Im really glad I purchased... We do a lot of camping, normally travelling by train and keeping things light is important. we were using standard flocked double bed which are pretty heavy, take up quite a bit of room and they also they have zero insulation.. which we found out about when we decided to go camping in early spring.. normally I don't thank my partner for packing a ridiculous amount of extra clothes, but this time I was glad.So I looked into the thermarest pads but every so often I would read reviews that they make a hell of a noise when you move on them (crisp packetesque) which is probably fine solo camping etc, but not something that would have worked for family camping. So the klymit pads seemed to fit the bill and I checked other reviews, not just on Amazon, mainly because well it's quite expensive for what is really just an inflatable bed.. and maybe not purchased regularly enough to get a stack of reviews. Go have a look about and you will see they are highly rated. For me the winners about this product is its lightweight, well made, comfortable (with no air displacement when someone moves on the pad), quiet and of course insulated. So if you are kind of swithering between this and something just a bit cheaper. I would go with the Klymit static insulated range. Worth the little bit extra in my mind.

Simply fantastic
I use this for adventures in both flat campsites and on rough ground wild camping. I've not had a single bad sleep (yet) on this!I'd read a lot good reviews before buying this and it's comfortably met all my expectations. Very comfortable to sleep on, packable and not heavy. The added insulation is a great additional benefit too when sleeping in colder climates! This is the first insualted and hiking orientated mat I've had, so I can't directly compare it with the likes of other brands. But I'd buy it again without a second thought.

Great and Rugged
Used this for an army exercise. It was great. Very comfortable, easy to use, compact, durable. Only issue is the inflate/deflate valve popped out, its easy to put back in, but it was an unexpected thing. Still 5 stars in my book.Update 1 Year later: Still a great product. Used it in multiple exercises at this point and a few personal camp outings. Still no issue (i somehow lost the compression bag it goes it tho). Its quick to inflate, doesn't deflate super quick though. I do "force air out" but i don't do it too hard for fear of cause a hole or busting a seam. I do notice that when i shift my weight or sit up on this pad, I hear a squeak now. Not sure what causes it, or if its signs of a developing problem. Still doesn't leak though. I tested this down to 7 degrees F (-14C). I could feel the cold radiating through the pad. Even in my -40F sleep system. It kind of sucked, but at those temperatures i probably should be using a different product. Still not disappointed. Still recommend.

Does everything well including comfort, packable size and weight.
The Klymit Insulated Static V Lite is a pad that does everything well including comfort, packable size and weight. It uses a dual layer of synthetic fibers to boost its R-value to 4.4, making it warm enough for use in cold climates. If you are good at taking care of your gear, this is an excellent pad for the price. It is not too heavy for hiking but but does tip the scale if you are looking for an ultra lightweight pad.

Great product, highly recommend especially when its on sale!
I've always been one to use an air mattress when camping, but when flying to a camping destination/ arriving late at night to a site and not wanting to wake the whole campground with the sound of the pump: I needed another option. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a go and I'm glad we did! This pad takes up less room than a pair of sweatpants and is really easy and quick to inflate. I only had one issue with it and that was a user error. It's a bit hard to properly close once completely inflated and I learned that the hard way, I thought I had it closed, but until you hear the snap its not... I woke up 2 times that night and had to re inflate, after the second time I pushed that sucker HARD and that's when I heard the snap and realized OHHHH... okay user error haha I've never had the same problem. We now have two and they BOTH fit into our tent bag along with the tent/poles etc... lightweight, comfy, takes up very little space and keeps me warm and off the ground. I read that this one often goes on sale so I snagged it up when it was on sale, highly recommend!!

Insulated Sleeping Comfort
Used on backcountry camping in Canmore Alberta and around Whistler BC. Even let a friend sleep on it as she is a fussy sleeper and she loved it. Shes going to buy the exact one because it is insulated. Yea its a bit pricier than the normal Static V, but its so worth it to be able to sleep a little warmer. Lightweight, looks good, doesnt take long to blow up, doesnt take long to pack away.
