Happy Sales Melamine Soba, Rice Spoons, Asian Chinese Won Ton Soup Spoon, 6 Pack Blue Bamboo Design

We used what I believe are these exact soup spoons at a Japanese restaurant in a large town nearby, and loved the concept, so decided to try and find some for home. The shape, size and blue bamboo image inside is exactly as I remember. These spoons are large (holds almost 1 1/2 tablespoons), flat so they sit upright on the table and won't slide around in the bowl, and a nice thick shiny plastic (which I preferred vs. breakable ceramic). They have completely smooth edges all around.This particular set was marked "Amazon's choice" and a great price for 6, so I bought a set for me and one set as a gift. The only disappointment is that they arrive wrapped up tightly in a gray plastic shipping bag like you'd get from, well, Amazon -- no box, case, or other wrapping despite there being a picture of a yellow box (my seller was Amazing Top Deals). There are stickers on the bottom of each to indicate they're new, and fortunately the stickers peel off easily and leave no residue, but still -- a little disappointing to have no retail packaging at all.The stickers do say these are Melamine, which I like -- it is difficult to break and chip, stays cool to the touch in hot soup, and is dishwasher safe (but not microwave safe). The stickers also say made in China. The quality seems good. I put them in the dishwasher (top rack) so they'll be ready next soup night, and they came out perfect.

These are melamine and they are a little thicker than I would like, but they are sturdy, and our family likes to eat most things with them, especially soups. They are easy to use and clean easily with a little soak first. They are also beautiful.

These are durable and easy to clean. I do wish they were a little longer. I also wish they had the hook at the top to keep from falling into a bowl. I also love the print on the inside … very beautiful!

I really like them, nice looking, size I expected for a soup spoon, cleans easy. Not sure how sturdy they are because like others that complained about at least one showing up broken, well guess what one was broken. Now that could be because it comes bundled together and mailed in a manila envelope and got broken due to the delivery people not being careful. I think since so many have had the same issue maybe they should put them in a box and that might take care of the problem (not worth it to return them I will live with 5 instead of 6 since it is just for my use and not my entire family). After using them for awhile in day to day use I will add on to this post if they are holding up or beak really easy.

I have not used these spoons yet but like other users, one came damaged in shipping. So I now have a set of 5 spoons not 6. For the price I guess that's to be expected. I won't order any more although they are nice looking. Just disappointed not to have the full set.

I use them for so many things!!I scoop food out of bowls, much faster than using a spoon!!Perfect size, very durable! Cute little design on each, nest together perfectly in drawer!! I love them, Highly recommend them!!!
