I have a substantial graveyard of natural deodorants. I have tried every single brand I've come across over the last 5 years. Some caused irritation, rashes, skin discoloration, and ultimately ended up only working briefly. I have the stained clothes as well. Some never worked at all and I couldn't stand my own smell. From time-to-time, I would go back to the unhealthy brands in the most desperate of times (110 for 3 months?) and I have to say, Routine has solved every issue I've ever had. It's soothing to the skin and I shave daily and apply right after I shower. The baking soda formula hasn't caused any issues for me and it doesn't leave my clothes stained. It truly holds up to the toughest of workouts, working in the garage during a summer day, etc. The scent is mild but smells lovely. If you're hesitant because of the price, that's understandable, but this truly is the best I've ever used.This just came across my feed and I thought I’d update. As I mentioned, I’ve used every natural brand possible. If one worked, it was only for a brief time. I originally wrote this review and year and a half ago. To this day, I still use this deodorant. I never smell, I never have to reapply to make through the day. Even after sweaty workouts with no AC in the Texas heat has stopped this from working. I hope they never change the formulation or sell out. This truly is the best purchase I’ve made. I now have it on autoship. The price may make you hesitant but one jar lasts me three months so that equals out to a nasty stick of secret. The company also sells samples if you’re worried about wasting the money. Definitely give this a try!!

I’m going to start by addressing the price because I’m sure that will be a potential turn off for many.The first jar I had lasted me 5 months! So that makes it roughly $5/mo. I use it everyday and use a decent amount (no skimping).This is THE best natural deodorant. I’ve tried many brands of natural deodorants over the years (I’m sure most of y’all have uttered that phrase in the other reviews or to friends) and this is my holy grail.In the last year I couldn’t find a deodorant that didn’t irritate and give my underarms dark patches. I think it might have been due to the fact that they didn’t have baking soda in them, which it’s usually the baking soda that irritates, but for me it was the opposite. I tried this one and within the first few days the irritation started to go away along with the dark patches.This isn’t an anti-perspirant, but I don’t really care because actual anti-perspirants never worked for me anyways. BUT I do work out 3-4 times a week and I do not smell at all afterwards. I’d rather be sweaty than smell bad.It does take a little bit more time in the morning to apply since you rub it in rather than apply with a stick, but that doesn’t bug me. It’s probably an extra minute max.I’ve tried 2 scents so far, but I really like this blackberry one.Last note. I’ve read that when you switch to natural deodorant you go through a detox phase where you can get pretty smelly. If that’s the case this deodorant is great because you can easily put it in a little travel jar or something and keep in your purse for easy reapplying. I wish it had been around when I was ‘detoxifying’.

The Routine deodorants are the best!! Every version has a wonderful aroma. I love them all. It makes me feel good to use a healthy product that's not putting chemicals and toxins in my body through my skin. And it works! I am a woman who sweats like a man and I do not get body odor using this product. (I did with other natural ones.). It's worth the money, it will last at least a month or longer if you don't need much.

I LOVE this deodorant. Love the effectiveness, love the scent, and love the creamy texture. A bit expensive but worth every cent. Won't be without.

Blackberry Betty is my favorite so far. I'm curious about the other scents. Sexy Sadie is my last one I ordered. Sweet & spicy. It's ok, but I'm a fruity scent kind of a gal. Cat lady was tropical fruit smell. Pretty too. But still a big fan of the blackberry scent. It's more subtle which I prefer. Next one I want to try is Sweet Jane.

I love this stuff. I've tried other natural deodorants but they just didn't work for me. This one survives all day and carries me through a crossfit workout and my regular gym workout without needing to be reapplies. Plus, it smells good too. Definitely glad I found it!!
